Honestly & respectfully I have NO clue where I’d be in life right now if doing if I’ve never came across Nats popular videos during covid of her having room make over & mama/papa Cuevas house to every other video because I was truly lost until I came across her videos I’ve never found myself actually watching someone so much (literally watch all your previous videos to the very first of valentines & up to date) then to watching Jake’s & once we all met & saw newer people in videos I started to just watch EVERYONE. Honestly Nat, your parents did an amazing job raising you! Some parents are taking the “soft” approach when raising a kid and there is literally nothing wrong with that but I feel like you are setting that child up for failure and sometimes you need to let the kid learn for themselves. This is my favorite podcast episode. This reminds me and my boyfriend’s relationship when we were new. We started dating our Senior year, but we went to long distance/internet dating because of COVID. And we through the same things, and it has built our relationship so strong. I will always tell everyone that are going through issues in a new relationship that it is going to be okay and even if there is differences. If you love each other and care about them, you will go through it. I love y’all’s relationship and how we are going through the same things ❤ and yes! The dating phase in the relationship is WAY different than the living together phase. Me and my partner look up to y’all ❤

I was 13 when we met, and he was 16. And for a while, we only wrote letters to each other because we did not live close to each other. This was back in the 90's. As someone who got married at 20 (22 now), my husband and I were always like oh no nothing's going to change the first year is gonna be the same as any year. Dead wrong. At least in our case, because we didn't live together before getting married, I can see why the first year of marriage can be different or difficult. There's new responsibilities for both the wife and husband. We were also renovating our home so we were constantly under stress. Once we got used to being around each other 24/7 and got more comfortable in our new environment, we went back to normal and flourished even more. Our relationship has changed for the better and has grown stronger. So for any newly wed couples, if your spouse is the one for you then you guys will get through any hardships together.

My first year of marriage wasn't hard at all but for other people it's because they aren't used to being with a partner everyday and it is more communication and trust and when you get mad you can't just leave you also have to learn to work together for your relationship and learn that it isn't just my stuff it's now ours and some people can't handle that or money that is both of yours now and nothing is separate also most people tend to control the marriage and you cant do that it has to be equal and i have been married almost 5 years and together with my husband almost 16years this year high school sweethearts ps. you two are doing amazing
