To to explain the shaman scene, I think the shaman is a real shaman, however, we know the shaman is corrupt as shown with her ties with Yeonjin's mom (and there's also a theory that a lot of young women come see her and then find a match because it's all part of a scam/match making service). Anyways, the shaman is performing a traditional Korean shamanism ritual where they can see and communicate with a deceased spirit, and initially she's faking her impersonation of So-Hee as she is being payed(?)/blackmailed by Dong-eun, which we can tell by Dong-eun's expression/smirk. However, things take a turn during the ritual and the shaman actally sees So-hee; she can smell her dead body (rotting flesh) and she can see her caved in skull from the fall. She tries to fight her off with her swords and asks her why she's still among the living, and this whole part is not part of Dong-eun's plan which we can tell by her surprised facial expression when this happens. The shaman eventually dies and the daughter says it's "beoljon" which in korean shamanism, is the highest form of punishment from the spirit world. It was the shaman's punishment from using her shaminism to make money and profit from others instead of using it for good. We can see Dong-Eun being emotional because she realized that 1-So-Hee is still with her and her spirit is still not resting after all these years and 2-So-Hee has been with Dong-eun all long which cuts back to a previous episode where Dong-eun says she feels So-Hee has been with her all these years and helping her sleep and keep going.

What I’m confused about is how Dong-eun knew about the conversation between Yeon-jin and Sohee. Because the only person to know is Sohee and Yeon-jin. Unless that video Sa-ra posted gave Dong-eun the idea that Yeon-jin killed her because she wore the same dress. But I am still unsure about that. Could it be that the Shaman knew what Sohee’s last words were through ritualistic means (?)

The nametag that Dongeun showed/didn't give Myeong-o was the fake one, but there was a real nametag that she picked up and sent to the police at the time, but the cop took it away and gave it to Yeonjin's mom. Her mom kept it just in case she needed to prove the cop was corrupt (how can she have evidence only the police has access to?) and Dongeun blackmailed her to give her the nametag to avoid jail time but as we've seen ultimately her mom keeping it is evidence against Yeonjin, a true betrayal

All this while we knew from the show that Yeo Jeong likes Dong Eun back in college and Dong Eun eventually likes him back when they started working together on the revenge. However, the end of this eps finally told us that all this while Dong Eun has been planning from college to get close to Yeo Jeong and to get his attention with a purpose.

fever dream is actually a good description for that shaman ritual. at its core the shaman use it to go into a trance and get possessed. in this series I think Dongeun proposed the shaman fake it but them got really possessed.

I guess it’s cause Dong-eun didn’t actually think Sohee’s spirit was by her side throughout her life. So when the Shaman died, it was basically Sohee verifying to Dong-eun that she had in-fact been by her side for all those years, and has been helping her rest peacefully at night, hence her crying.

These are not my comments, I found them but might help with context. 1)The shaman told Yeonjin not to meet anyone with an 'ㅇ' in name. However, Yeon-jin's mother has five 'ㅇ's in her name. 2)The shaman pretended to be possessed by Dong-eun's threat. Soon, however, shaman began to tell stories that Dong-eun didn't know. 3)Dong-eun believed that there's no God. But through this episode, we know. In fact, So-hee and another god were helping Dong-eun. 4)The shaman makes a corrupted cop to sleep with a talisman woman. Then bad luck will escape him. 5)At the end, there are dark clouds in the sky, blocking the sunlight. This means that God is helping Dong-eun and Yeo-jeong. In relation to the talisman that fell on yeon-jins moms face: It's like ancestral tablet. A name of sacred spirit is written on it. In this case the name is "서방경신 백호신장(Sacred white tiger, gardian of western who has power of metal)" In asian traditional religion, they beilieved that the white tiger has power and take a role of punishing and slaying evils. That scene suggests that the tiger's eyes on yeonjin's mom and she gonna be punished.

The shaman was faking it at first, and then Sohee really did turn up and brought with her divine punishment. Remember in the previous episode the shaman has said to Yeon Jin's mom that she'd be punished if she helped her with ms kang's husband.
