I cried a lot with the shaman scene, cuz even though Dongeun made up a story with her to scare Yeonjin, in the end Sohee's spirit was there and Dongeun felt her and that's why she cried. After all these years, Sohee was with her, waiting for justice. Thanks for the video guys🩷

DongEun didnt know about the “take off your clothes”. Dong Eun asked the shaman to fake the summoning but in the end Sohee ghost was beside DE so the shaman also saw Sohee. They say its bad for shaman to fake it so shman died too

So Dong-Eun and Ms. Kang did actually have something to do with her husband's death, they just made it appear like they didn't. Ms. Kang made it pretty obvious in a past episode that she was hiding something. Her husband caught on and that's when he saw all the money in her purse. Dong-Eun had sent a text saying that she wanted Ms. Kang to start blackmailing Yeon-jin's mom. Her husband saw that and the first "payment" which is why he's following Yeon-jin's mom and sending her all those texts in the previous episodes. The mom isn't just going to let that happen, so she had the police guy look into the husband, and got the shaman to help her by saying that she would give her 1 billion won to help build her new temple. So she can either give into the black mail or the shaman can help her. So the shaman posed as Yeon-jin's mom and lured him out into the street so she could take him out. It's pretty elaborate, but Dong-Eun and Ms. Kang don't want any of this linked back to them.

No one pushed the husband. The shaman got him to cross the street right as the car was coming to hit him on purpose. That makes it APPEAR like an accident. Pushing him wouldn’t do that

The husband was going to meet the shaman to get the money so she told him to cross and yeon Jin mom planned that this way is better cause his wife and dong eun aren’t directly involved so they can avoid punishment for it another great reaction

The shaman was legit back then when yeonjin still on high school, she abused her power to do bad things, so as time pass she start to lose her power, she said it to yeonjin mom that 'i was not as good as i used to be' if i'm not mistaken Then those ritual with yeonjin, i believe the first half is fake, that was by dongeun order But the second half is legit, when she said 'what are the dead doing here' , sohee did come and take over the shaman body😵 that is why she said what exactly happen on the rooftop back then! And i remember the scene when yeonjin see sohee ghost on the hospital parking park, and dongeun said to the school nurse that she feels like sohee helped her sleep at night.

@@MADEbySOUL Right. I also didn't want to make it sound like the divorce issue is taken lightly elsewhere. Public eyes on divorced couples are not very pleasant in Korea, hence why he chose to move her to UK.

My husband said those lovey dovey childish love scenes serve as a necessary mental and emotional break from all the dark and demented stuff that happens in these kdramas. I think they’re unnecessary - I could ride the emotional and mental wave forever , no break needed or wanted. 😂

@@g.j.9515 I still stand by what I said which is in a lot of these serious kdramas have lovey dovey scenes (not love interest) that I find distracting and unnecessary . Maybe it’s a cultural thing. But I’ve seen other serious kdramas like “Beyond Evil” (wonderfully done!), “My Name” that didn’t have those cheesy love scenes. Some people like those kinds of scenes in serious kdramas, I’m not a fan. I think the relationship between the doctor and Dong Eun would still have developed beautifully even without the childish displays of affection.

@@BrainGiggles i think i get what you mean. i dont watch kdramas, this one was my first, but i remember being bothered by anime tropes the same way, when youre exposed to cultural tropes for the first time it can bother. but im also standing by what i said. "these scenes dont fit the tone of kdramas" is a general criticism for the entirety of kdramas but isnt a deserved one for The Glory. all romantic scenes run the risk of being corny to anyone but their scenes were significant for Dong Eun's story, the softness of them contrasted the serious, Yeojeongs affinity for romance is a welcome distraction for her, showing them being "for love not for revenge" even in the worst of it. it IS plot relevant, it cant be written off as bad writing or tonal issue when its such an integrated element the story suffers without.
