BCpov is Yuka’s new bike a 29 or 27.5?
@gregwebster87845 жыл бұрын
We saw you at the connector trail talking to that XC guy. Barranca, and Oats are the better trails in MDO. Should have went San Luis Obispo and ridden. Much more fun.
@wingnutbert96855 жыл бұрын
Great having cam's on both of you. Worth the extra editing time. Glad to see Yuka on a new ride! Hope Norco stepped up to sponsor that! Might need to tie Yuka on a string in that wind! At least you could tow her like a kite so she doesn't fly away!

Oh my God I recognized it before I read the title! I used to climb my bike up to Oats Peak and would smash a brew at the top. That trail was the best, man! Thank you so much for sharing, I feel like I'm living through it again

Man that's a great video! Good flow trails and lots of great scenery. A place for a relaxing riding experience, Yuka seemed really chill singing as she rode so I know it was enjoyable. Another spot to visit and take a ride.

Montana del Oro is a beautiful California State Park with many uses. I really like the dual video recordings from the two of you. It really adds to the pleasure of watching your videos. Did I hear Yuka say, wee? She is so relaxed but tuned into to mountain biking.

Awesome - I think we were on the same road trip in Cali up to the Otter. My last vid was Simi Valley and next weeks is this exact ride, but instead I took Barranca down. One of the prettiest rides I've ever done right here. Good stuff you two! 👌
@gregwebster87845 жыл бұрын
Barranca is definitely the best trail there.

Fun to see the trails I ride a couple of times a week in your video. I agree with your comments on the new Canyon View trail, it has such a gentle steady grade that it really isn't challenging at all. It does however make a good connector to the trails on the other side of Islay Creek (the fire road you were riding on). I love to ride the Oates Peak trail and on the way back drop down to the creek and then ride up Canyon View and descend Hazard Peak trail back to the car, the older Hazard trail isn't technical at all but it has so much more variety compared to Canyon and thus much more engaging. You picked a great time of year to ride MDO as in a couple of weeks those green hills will be brown and dry.

That was probably the windiest day of the year on the central coast. I remember because it was just around the time sea otter was getting started which was super windy here and at Sea Otter. While it's pretty common to have some wind/gusts at Montana De Oro in the afternoon, that was much more than normal! Just FYI.

I hope you hiked down to the water at MDO, lots of tide pools, and often there’s seals as well.

Thanks for another great video, Yuka is very animated. If I tried to sing while i ride i'd likely pass out. So, out of all the trails you've ridden over the last few months that was your favorite (yours as well as Yuka's)? I hope Yuka's ankle is 100%.

IMBA trails are generally multipurpose and are featureless. Apparently, horse people don't like the gnar. U guys should come back in Summer to ride Tahoes best trail systems. Those trails are built for MTB by riders. Nevada city is another area u must visit when you are in NorCal.
