I used to get so jealous of other kids when they broke a bone and had to wear a cast. I used to fall out of trees on purpose hoping I'd break an arm; I even asked a boy at school to break my ankle once. It never worked. The only bone I've ever broken was a toe, and I did it by mistake when I was in high school.

i broke my arm in elementary school, but they refused to give me a cast cause the break was too close to my growth plate. i guess if i damaged that then my arm would've stopped growing at like age 6? so instead, they put two huge pins in my elbow, and then wrapped it in gauze and tensor bandages. ofc it always smelled like an old gym sock and i couldn't go on the playground while i was healing, so i just stayed inside alone watching winnie the pooh. plus no one can sign tensor bandages! so lame. but my arm is normal sized so i guess it worked or whatever.

About the tooth taking out one, when I was little and my first tooth felt like it was falling out, my mom tied a piece of sewing string around it and yanked it out. After that I took my own teeth out.

52:36 lemme tell you something about normal casts. I broke my wrist when I was 5. My grandma(I spent the summers with my grandparents) wouldn't put the bags on my arm nothing. My arm was ITCHY and once that cast came off... My arm was covered in mold and we had to get cream to help my arm as there something wrong I dont remember what. Get a water proof cast, just put a bag over it, as I really don't want people to go through what I did. Just imagine the smell, it was gross.

As someone that had a normal cast and just covered it with a plastic bag each time, it was totally fine. I think its absolutely better to avoid the water on the cast entirely than to trust a cast that will never be completely waterproof
