Why do you touch the child? It makes me so uncomfortable to watch. How will the child know a person has bad intentions? They get so used to being touched they think it is normal. I am asking this question as an abuse survivor. This scene is so familiar. This doctor is probably the best but,please understand before any negative comments.

That is something we train our kids about good touch and bad touch. Touch is a very common practice in India and am sure in many other parts of the world. It is unfortunate that people misuse that. However the right touch is something that we as people are very sensitive towards, girls/women all the more. So train kids to know and understand right touch and wrong touch. Let’s stop with these western ideologies and learn to be sensible.

Agree. The touching was unnecessary. The doctor could have had the conversation without continuously touching the child. These are things professionals must know.

This lovely doctor knows how to put a scared child's mind at ease. He has been working with children for many years and he knows that they are very often fearful of doctors and of injections. What you are saying about him "touching the child" is sad and totally uncalled for.
