And I really liked that gravestone idea. It's a nice little extra touch, letting people know the story and not only the name of someone who's been loved, who still is loved and missed. It gives those stones a bit more meaning, when you see and TRULY realize that for every gravestone there are often many, many people who're missing the one underneath that stone you're looking at. It's a truly lovely idea. Letting your loved one live on in the memories of others in one more way could only ever be good.

Passenger jets must have more than one engine for safety. They sometimes do fail, but not very often. When it happens it's unsettling for the passengers but for the plane itself it's almost always so uneventful as to be pretty much trivial. They pick a convenient airport and land the plane. Because of the enormous number of flight hours every year, passenger jet engines fail from time to time, and for the most part it's no big deal.

I remember how important my privacy was when I was a teen. What the dog doesn’t seem to realize is, if you let the door stay shut, it won’t get any food or water. I wonder how long it would take for that lesson to sink in.

There is a cemetery at the church I go to, and my friend and I would walk through it and look at the gravestones. It is amazing how much you can learn about a family from what little information is there, but I have always wanted to know more about who they were. I am glad there are people out there trying to preserve the stories of lost ones.

Thanks for leaving this comment! My father co-owns the company that does this (Turning Hearts). He had a friend invite him to get involved with it, and it has since turned into a passion project for him! I scanned one he brought home to show me when he first told me about it, and it brought up a video of a crazy talented violinist playing How Great Thou Art. They had been dead for 30 years, but you could truly see a passionate side of who they were in that video. The countless hours that must have gone into practicing to make it sound that good. It was literally a window into a real piece of this person's life, and who they were. It was a surreal experience!
