Part 1.
Our main character, Metti. He meets a strange, incomprehensible but beautiful entity, Mii.
//
NOW AVAILABLE ON ALL STREAMING PLATFORMS!!
Context:
The first of a musical story that I will tell in 9 videos that will lead to my piano album. This is about possibly the most planned thing I'll ever do lol...
The album will be published on January 19, just after having uploaded a cover for each piece every 3 days. Additionally, I will upload 2 singles to Spotify to build a portfolio before the album.
These are the things you have to do because you don't have a budget to promote...

Like remembering a dream. Reliving a life I’ve forgotten. memories I’ve forgotten, of which my mind painfully trys to remember. I completely feel you. I am also nearing the end of school and I have no idea what comes next. Every passing year is more of a question of what I'm doing with my life and what I should be doing- and to be honest, I don't know. This music touched a part of me that just made the worry and anxiety disappear for a few minutes. Every once in a while I'll remember or be tripped into remembering to exist, be, feel... Our time may be finite and inevitably trudging forward with or without us, but our passion... our love... is not. Do what you love, spend time with those you love, and the things that matter in the end will have mostly worked out. I wish the best of luck to you in 2024, friend.

The sound of the roughness of the keys and the petals being pressed down sounds so natural and real. Like it's not meant to be perfect because perfect doesn't exist. It reminds me of the soundtrack of A Silent Voice. Sounds very majestic. Not only that but there is more to the piano than just how the notes sound from the keys. Listening to the mechanics of the grand piano is music itself as well. You show that nicely. Beautiful.

Watching the sun set as it’s warm amber colored beams light up you and that special someone’s face. Like a laugh. Not like one of those you hear everyday. But one that says “I enjoy every second of time I am given with you”. Such a passionately played piece that feels like a bittersweet but fleeting memory. I really like it. Good luck with your album!

I've been going through a rough time for a while now, and this music makes me think of all the beautiful things I have in my life. Like a sunrise on a morning you thought you would never be able to see. Like my little sister when she smiles and talks about her passions. Like my older sister when she gets back home from work super tired but still makes the time to hang out with me. Like my Mom when she gives me a hug and tells me everything will be okay. Like my Dad when he takes us all out onto the boat and smiles the whole time. Like when my family sits outside and eats dinner together, laughing and joking. Full of life. Like my boyfriend, who is everything I could have asked for, and yet somehow more. My soulmate. Who pieces me back together when I fall apart, who cares for me even when I cannot care for myself. Who has shown me what it looks like to live fully, without restraint. I love him to the depths of my soul, in the fibers of my very being. I will piece myself back together with him, so that I can be whole for him. I am so incredibly blessed to be able to live my life with him. With my entire family. Thank you so much for this music, I needed a little push to take stock of all of the beautiful things in my life right now. Thank you.

This piece inspired me truly to put whatever emotion I got from it, into words. Please, take this poem to your heart, lightly. Reminiscing Sitting on the couch, book in my hand, drowsy, Then came the delicate notes, through my chamber window, Caressed my face, ever so gently, Brought back memories of that night, Reminiscing now, as usual, Fondly, though, not coldly, Ready as ever, To go into love so boldly. My eyes on the page, Looking for words, But I’m at a loss for them, Don’t know how to describe, That moment, that night I guess I’ll take what my doctor prescribed. Sleeping, now, Dreamland, Wasn’t that how it felt, When I held your hand? Awake, now Roused again by those delicate notes, At my chamber window, Coming from my neighbour, - I assume - Looking out at the meadow, Her shadow stretched long by the rays of the sun, Then comes the realisation; Still Dreamland. Awake, truthfully now, Not by some piano, Pain, Her body lain on the floor, Flashback, Reminisce the good times, Flashback, Kid myself just how many times? Awake, not kidding now, Standing up, stretching, Opened the window, No notes, No meadow, No body… Nobody.

This feels like watching your love and you’s life flash before your eyes, dancing around in some sunny golden field, your hand in theirs as you spin around yellow flowers and strands of grass. But all you can think of is your partner, lovely as they are, right beside you.

I’ve been in a lot of chronic pain recently, and since I live alone, it’s been weighing on me emotionally too. I stumbled upon this video while doing some midnight studying and was immediately brought to tears. I didn’t feel an instant relief from all the discomfort, but I was reminded that all things are temporary - even pain. At the end of the day, it will all just turn into memories. The bittersweet melody reminded me of my hometown - all the beautiful faces of family and friends, even loved ones I lost or chose to leave, or those who had chosen to leave me. Not all memories were beautiful - but at the end of the day, they were all memories. There is beauty in tragedy, and there is hope in pain. And beautiful things will come back to us in some other way, shape, or form after we’ve lost them - even if it’s just a memory, or a melody, just like this one. Anyway, I now play this song whenever I feel the pain coming back. It’s been on repeat for many days now. My friend caught me listening to it to calm down while in pain. Later in the day, when he sensed the discomfort coming back, he suggested for me to listen to “the matsuii her song”again - and it really helped. I’ve been listening to your other songs on Spotify as well, and other compositions here on KZbin. Listening to your music is like walking through a museum of paintings that evoke different emotions and tell different stories - yet you can tell they were all composed with the same heartbeat. Whoever “she” is in this song, whether fictional or real, she sounds like a beautiful memory. Keep doing this. Your music moves.

sir I am utterly flabbergasted at how good this is. I'm not gonna lie these past few weeks have been incredibly rough, as for I am going through a breakup. this really made me pause and relax all emotion to a tolerable level, and for that I have to thank you.

I feel im falling in love in a coffee shop, life becomes still yet full, a beautiful women reading a book in the corner, her beauty admired by the rays of sunshine. She looks at me and time unfreezes as i grab my coffee. All in a moments notice i feel this song is a poem that could be made into a book. I absoulutely love it!

I really enjoy how this song sounds as if it’s a really long thought. The dissident parts blend in really well with the whole piece and it’s truly amazed and surprised me. Nice work.

I see a lot of these "her" compositions. Songs about an ethereal beauty right before one's eyes, yet hardly able to be described in a way with words. A song written for a kind of love that comes from an innocent wish upon that shooting star which all dreams burn away to a very real, once in a lifetime kind of beauty. A love that you you can only experience while with this ethereal "her". This composition, out of any song with a matching title, is my favorite. Other compositions build to a massive conclusion; a revelation that the feeling within your heart at this dreamlike "her" is that all encompassing love you've wished for all your life. That realization in such a massive confession of pure, raw emotion with a resounding orchestra that follows as if right out of a movie! This isn't like that, and I believe that's the truest reflection of this concept of "her". True Love, is quiet. It is not loud and never named within those larger than life moments where all of your emotions are poured out. Those realizations of love are small in comparison: the way they walk, the way they look at things with curiosity and enthusiasm, the way they communicate. A such small and simple moments where real love is made. Whether such a love is realized or not, whether its even acted upon, or even named, the realization is not large or massive. Its quiet, and that's my favorite part about this piece.
