I've never seen anything like this. I always thought I needed a big backyard to be able to grow vegetables like this. It looks like hard work but so worth it, definitely makes me more confident in growing some of my own veggies on my balcony

Can I just say, as a child, eating fruits and veggies from the garden. Watching them grow, picking them, eating them. Was the BEST. Even now, I have a better appreciation of in season fruits and veggies, and what they're supposed to taste like when fresh. Such a big difference.

This is probably the best balcony vegetable garden I've seen! Thank you for showing how to use nettle against aphids. My tomatoes and cucumbers used to do pretty well until the aphids came and destroyed them mid-season. Nothing I tried - even the strong insecticide I used in desperation - couldn't save them. The only crops that have managed to thrive on my balcony are parsley, arugula, basil, dill, lettuce, mini eggplants and chilies.

I sprayed them about once a week. My balcony gets a lot of sun and heat in the summer, so I guess the quick evaporation and drying made the treatment less effective.

This reminds of my mother The reason why I can see grape vines from my window She is so into gardening but we were soo broke that even the tools she required couldn't be bought Now she's got all supplies She is planting roses, Bougainville evergreen creeper,jasmine,croteins,and many I am proud pf you mom
