I love the conversions that have been created for many different types of weapons.The fact is though, the cost for these kits are so damned expensive you might as well purchase a new weapon that is comparable to the conversion platform. Unless of course you have fist fulls of dollars or your smallarms are funded by tax dollars

+Robert Dug Yea...these enclosure are very expensive.... not to mention when you add some additions to it such as an optic & so on.... which most do i guess. But, as i see it... these types of kits are mostly attractive to shooters in countries where buying a semiauto pistol caliber short rifle is not allowed.

I've had the g3 19 9mm..and a keltec sub 2k Gbody...both take the same mags.. sorry.. glockazines ..even have the 50rd drum and I've put thousands of rounds down range with brass casings(ie. I don't buy ammo that does run properly)..never a hiccup..Roni..mechtech..and this..are way over budget even after you have bought your own Glock pistol... These accessories are a pipe dream for most...in a perfect world..we all would have this! Thx and stay frosty!

If you do the appropriate NFA Registration on your pistol/carbine you can not transport it across state lines without prior approval. It is permanently registered as a Carbine/SBR

Stephen Browning It is permanantly registered yes. But ATF defines a SBR by how it is configured, not by how it is registered. So it only needs to be in SBR configuration for you to need approval to travel across state lines (meaning less than 16" barrel + stock). If there is no stock on it, it is no longer a SBR and is just a regular handgun and can travel freely like any other firearm, even though it is still registered as a SBR. Machineguns are different, as they are always considered a machinegun.

The only thing I don't get about these is they don't do anything about barrel length so your still shooting a pistol just on a more stable platform.

I've been looking at getting one of these for a while now and I just noticed your Triarii is a little different. Did you make covers for the vent holes above the side rails, or did it come with them covered?

I like the setup with the exception of the AFG placing your hand in front of the muzzle should something go shitty with a round like a bad load or a squib load your hand is going to funny looking for a long time 🤕

How are you zeroing with the red dot. Ive had one since 2010 and just now getting it up and running. Mine is for the 34/35. I have an Eotech with 65/1 moa reticle and have been looking for ballistic zeroin data on the 9mm/40. Very little info. Right now im POA at 15 yards. I would love 15 yard moa dot POA with bottom of the 65 reticle to be 7 yards and the top being 50-10. That would be easy, but i know 9mm doesn’t play like a 223. Anyway im having fun with mine...

I know if order one without the stock, it is not an SBR. However, lets say have a spare AR 15 stock sitting around. Is that considered constructive possession. I guess the odds of getting caught are 0 %
