close yet quite far. Improvement is very incremental and players are improving across the board. Current Viper would destroy himself from 5 years ago, same goes for Hera (to a way larger extent).

I do want to clarify one thing about the tarkans, their specialness is only being part-siege. They have higher PA, yes, but their lack of dps means that the difference in survivability compared to a knight is moot when killing ranged units or surviving defense fire when killing something takes 50% longer. They have a base 8 atk and 16% slower attack speed than a knight meaning ~65-71% the damage output of a knight with it falling worse when armor is a factor. It's cost compared to a knight is saving 15 gold, but marauders has a cost too. When actually used as a stand-alone unit in castle age they are no better than a knight and consistently are directly worse than them. In IMP their only use is as a siege ram replacement and required to have massed CA behind them, they die to anything that isnt an arbalester otherwise. Compared to a paladin they still have the same 65-71% damage comparison and the paladin now has +10 Hp which for the extra cost of the pally upgrade is reasonable. Its just a weaker and more expensive siege ram in that position.

I think that your ability to read situations and knowing when to double down makes you so good. A thing that non pros can't really do effectively. Getting siege out if you FC is the move to put the pressure on. I think t90 took foot off the gas when he had the momentum

Not convinced T90 could be top20 with just a few changes like Hera says. I mean, top 24 is TTL Platinum level ! But at the same time I think T90 lacks confidence in his gameplay and rates himself lower than he actually is. He did manage to beat Nili once in a tournament setting after all. T90 is definitely more skilled than he thinks, he could probably make it to TTL gold league if he wasn't so busy casting, organizing and managing TTL, and if he trained properly. And yeah when I saw he had Huns, I knew the three archery ranges were coming, he loves Huns CA. At least they weren't on an island this time ! 11
