For players that aren’t Hera-tier there’s a technique you can use to have your archers fire in 2 salvos. Set the whole army to one control group. When you want to shoot, drag-box half your archers to shoot at one target then use your control group to make the other half shoot a different target.

They should add a tech that allows allies to control certain selected military units. So the goth player could have sent some huscarls to purple that Hera could control. Maybe make it so that goths would have to change some setting on the group of huscarls so allies wouldn't be able to hijack wtv allied units they wanted. That'd add a new twist to it. You'd have to divvy up units between allies in the most beneficial way to provide the most protection/attacking power.
