Memorable moment for Georgie Herrera when he had the chance to jam for some minutes with his idol HERBIE HANCOCK, right after the rehearsal for the Lang Lang-Telefonica celebration concert.
First, Georgie adressess a question to Mr. Hancock about musical details of a complicated jazz piece. They analyze the song, and finally they play together.
Georgie, the winner in Ecuador, performed along with Lang Lang, Herbie Hancock and 49 kids from several countries, who were conducted by Maestro Jahja Ling.

The piece at the beginning they are discussing is called “9 Over Reggae”. Herbie played it with Metheny, Holland, and DeJehonnette in 1990.
