I was probably 6 or 7 yrs. old when my (much) older brother brought home the Ramsey Lewis album of Maiden Voyage. It literally opened my ears and eyes to jazz forever. I am eternally grateful to my brother...changed my life.

I don't know what exactly you're referring to but you're wrong. It's actually a Db minor 9 chord or minor 6/9 not sure
