HerculesKabuterimon IS FINALLY DECENT!! BT15 Deck Profile

Tentomon gets much needed support with a new line in BT15 making it a viable deck to play in the BT15 format!

Yo! I'm an Insectoid (HerculesKabuterimon) player since late last year's Summer, and your Deck profile is actually pretty solid 👌 As an Insectoid player, I have a couple of things you should consider trying out: -Kabuterimon EX1 is actually broken. You can Digivolve while attacking, but what makes Kabu EX1 super good is if you used Tento to buff Kabu and then buff itself again when it becomes MegaKabu Ace, it'll be a 13000 DP that basically swings security near safe thanks to its high DP, a good way to sneak in a Security hit while setting up your next turn for HerculesKabuterimon -Megakabuterimon EX1 was briefly brought up in your vod, but I strongly recommend still using it. It's When Attacking effect is still really good to Digivolve into HerculesKabuterimon all the while gaining Memory back from its Inherit (and even more if you also have Tento and/or Kabu Inherits too). Digivolving into Hercules also guarantees not only a hit to Security, but guarantee that HerculesKabuterimon also gets that protection during your opponent's turn -The Izzy & Mimi Tamer is such an underrated spice tech that I love playing around with. You can get some memory easily if your opponent ends up getting suspended from attacking or Super Shocker Security, but if you attack with a LV5 Digi, you can press your luck to try to Digivolve for free while still swinging for an attack. The Izzy & Mimi Tamer goes super well with EX1 Megakabu since even if the Izzy & Mimi Tamer doesn't pull through, you'll still have an opportunity to still Digivolve into a Lv6 thanks to MegaKabu EX1 effect when attacking Hope these ideas are great ideas for ya, keep up the good work 🫡

I definitely wouldn't recommend running the ST-15 Tai Kamiya. If your opponent has a Digimon that could beat over your Hercules, they could just attack into it directly and Tai would do absolutely nothing. The only way it would do anything is if your opponent just wasn't paying attention and made the suboptimal play of attacking your other Digimon while you had both the Tai and Izzy out at the same time and while they had a Digimon that would beat over your Hercules anyways... So basically never haha

I’m an advocate for 4x MegaKabu ACE. Such an underrated ACE. Plus combo it with Super Shocker and he’s more likely to survive those attack redirects.

Ive been optimizing hercules a bunch and there are some cards you could think about changing over to speed up the deck. togemon is amazing for letting you play out izzys, for 1. Climbmon is fantastic at dealing with early threats. Super shocker is one of the most important cards for sure. I think the Kokuwamons are not as good as kunemon bc you are able to take any green card and then go into kabuterimon suspended to bait into megakabu ace.

a funny tech since you run the tai would be the ST15 trident arm to dedigi opp digimon and force them to attack you and either ace or izzy to redirect and possible turn steal back

Yo! An idea came up and I wanted to hear your opinions on it regarding the Level 4s. Obviously we want to keep the BT15 Kabuterimon play set, and I think at this point running a play set of promo Kuwagamon is pretty much mandatory. For the final 2 spots for Level 4, there are 2 Insectoids that come into mind: ST9 Snimon and BT14 Dokugumon. I think one of these two have solid potential for having a spot in Insectoids: -Snimon adds aggression since it is played from Security, the suspend effect is great for defensive (Security) and offensive (hard playing it isn't so bad now thanks to the BT15 Motimon), and Snimon can further be used defensively thanks to MegaKabu Ace -Dokugumon (On Play or When Digivolving) has the ability to suspend a Digimon, then afterwards has the ability to stun your all of your opponent's Digimon with 5000 DP or less until the end of your opponent's turn which can be handy for early game utility Just wanna know what you think of these options.

Personally I've had a lot of success with Dokugumon myself since my build is more aggressive than most. I really like using EX1 MegaKabuterimon to go into Hercules as fast as possible, and having a level 4 that can suspend on Digivolution is really good when my level 3 isn't a Tentomon. Also as for the Kuwagumon... I'm gonna have to stick with alternative level 4's because no way am I going to spend $120 for a playset of those rn haha. Togemon is pretty good since the deck really needs its Tamers to function.

​@RedPokeTrnr makes sense yeah Kuwagamon is stupid expensive. I'm lucky that I snagged 3 copies of them for $5 each when they were reasonably cheaper back then lol I do plan on getting a 4th copy because it's just too good, I'll be getting that and get a couple of Dokugumons to try them out myself 👍 I was playing out EX1 MegaKabu, and while I still like it, I ended up going with promo Okuwamon since it helps give me memory back when he becomes Hercules, puts my opponent in a tricky spot since they gotta consider to suspend or not, and the piercing inherit is really handy so Hercules can grant piercing to another Insectoid to add on more pressure for security attacks. But we'll see. I'm still messing around with this Deck, even trying out 1 copy of Impact of Knowledge because I want to attack/trash security as much as possible since Hercules needs that extra push.

I ended up getting 3 Kuwagamons for the sake that I didn't want to over-rely on it + that I need space for my other Lv 4 Insectoids. If I ever need a 4th one, I'll get one someday, but I'm happy with the 3 I currently have. (And good thing I snagged them, they were $4-5 each previously before they spiked up in price)
