@@DonPahelBetter to empower someone like Trump, who entered Miss America/Universe dressing rooms as contestants were undressed, and is an ajudicated rapist. "When you're a star, they let you do it." "And you consider yourself to be a star?" - E. Jean Carroll lawyer, in deposition "I think you can say that, yeah." - Defendant Donald 'Doe 174' Trump The Donald's list of businesses that tanked are in his recent SEC filing, and listed by law. Read them. Regardless of how he uses his freedom of speech to say anything--anything that he feels will make him look good to people who refuse to read (ex.: that SEC filing, which is available to be read) non-partisan content. He's been found guilty of persistent fraud in New York, and can now expect to be sued by the IRS--he should absolutely not be out back into power. “I’m the king of debt. I’m great with debt. Nobody knows debt better than me,” Trump told Norah O’Donnell on 'CBS This Morning'. “I’ve made a fortune by using debt, and if things don’t work out I renegotiate the debt. I mean, that’s a smart thing, not a stupid thing.” “How do you renegotiate the debt?" “You go back and you say, hey guess what, the economy crashed; I’m going to give you back half.” ... He increased the US national debt by 25% in a/his single term! $8 trillion! It's ludicrous to consider him as president, regardless of people's inclunation toward racism, retribution, etc. Work together to compete in local and internatiinal markets, not in race riots. Grow up. The world needs grown-ups.

Many Billionaires & corporations like Walmart pay few or no taxes and do not pay their full time employees a living wage which causes them to get food stamps to get by, while they rake in record profits tens of billions. Corporate welfare and money in politics is destroying this country
@gregabesames9297
@gregabesames9297 7 ай бұрын
Wrong. The consumers only pay sales tax on the purchase no matter what the price is. Companies get tax reliefs and can claim deductions and pass them on to investors and upper corporate management, The end result is less taxes means more profits for the corporations and investors. The corporation can price gouge to increase profits to an extent but a fair tax rate will negate the greed for more profits.
@Commenting800
@Commenting800 7 ай бұрын
Stupid logic been debunked for a long time. Sitting here defending corporations! Really? When a drug goes for $5 to $1000. All that hike is NOT taxes. Corporations will price gauge you, with or without taxes. Taxes on them will ensure some of their stealing goes back to help the country build roads, make sure planes don’t crash, America defends its interests abroad…
@Ralyns
@Ralyns 7 ай бұрын
@@gregabesames9297 you obviously don't understand how business works - expenses are passed on to the consumer in the price of the product. And don't tell me it doesn't - I am a retailer. If my expenses go up, so do my prices. I try to keep my prices as low as possible, but I cannot afford to go into debt and out of business either. I'm just a little guy - I'm not making the big bucks like these big corporations - but we're not treated any different than those big guys. So, when you go after those big corporations you also put little ones out of business. If you really want to teach these big corporations a lesson for gouging you, stop doing business with them - it's that simple. Stop asking government to intervene.
@jennytmaher
@jennytmaher 7 ай бұрын
It's the same when tariffs are put on goods from other countries. The other country doesn't pay the extra. The American consumer does. That's the way the economy works. Bur remember, corporations (or any other business) can only charge as much as the consumers are prepared to pay. At some point, they will take a hit in profits to make the sale. Otherwise, the consumer will buy fewer or smaller eggs or apples, or a different cut of beef or a different brand of car instead of paying more.

@@unstabl-3He doesn’t ever thrive. “Lincoln Riley?” Wrong name. “Illegals” Democrats were all over media today trying to walk back his use of that term. The border bill? Was not a border bill, it was sending more money to Israel and Ukraine while providing less than a tenth of that at the border while still allowing up to 5k in a day at the ports of entry while the issue is the crossing between the entry points, hence it occurring illegally. And we have the ability to have more judges at the border but his administration isn’t nominating judges to fill them currently. So it wasn’t addressing the actual current problems at the border that couldn’t be addressed today under our current laws, it was sending billions to foreign lands while ignoring the actual border problems leading to states being saddled with the cost of caring for these people that the federal govt is flying to the interior of the country. This was a campaign speech not a state of the union speech. It wasn’t about his accomplishments but rather what he wants to do, most of which he doesn’t have actual control over and relies on Congress to pass.

I am just speculating that if the credit card companies reduce the late fees from $39.00 to $8.00 these same rich people charging a reduced late fee are the same people owing 25% of their “fair” share in Social Security, sounds like one of the three stooges that decided to drill holes in the bottom of their boat to let the water drain out? I am all for reducing the late fees but where does the balance of 25% more come from if the fees are reduced? Don’t you have to earn more to owe more? Not earn less in barrowed capital to owe more ? Do the math, where is the other side of the equivalent comming from? (I am speculating because i suck at math.) plus as we flood more printed money into our country, each dollar represents the value of one oz. Of Silver. Silver by weight gets heavyer as you have more ounces in in your pocket and why we print a lighter substitute, easier to carry in our wallets. But if we print more paper currency to equal that one ounce of silver, the cost of carrying more to equal that same ounce of silver causes one dollar an ounce, to become equal to more dollars per ounce of silver. An ounce of Silver never increases in value. It is the amount of money that no longer represents one ounce that makes it look like one ounce of silver is worth more dollars than it did when one dollar equaled one ounce of Silver. When the government began giving away money no longer equal to one ounce of Silver to help Americans recover from lock downs and foreclosure $39.00 or $8.00 is not being repaid unto the equivalent of one ounce of Silver? So why are we being lead to believe that the lie we are being handed about the value one dollar should be worth, is not worth anything, not even one ounce of Silver by weight? The current cost per ounce of Silver takes roughly $23 to $27 dollars per ounce so divide the amount of bills in a given day by one ounce of silver and the balance of tenths of one ounce becomes apparent as it takes more money to recover the balance we barrowed against to repay the amount owed being late paid. You cannot reduce this figure from $39.00 per ounce to $8.00 when $8.00 does not equal the amount we spent using a credit card to barrow money we canot repay as the dollar shrinks in value, and costs more in intrest to repay. All those banks we save money through reinvest our savings through those who use our money on credit card purchases. If we are charged less than the value of an ounce of silver that was worth more when we spent it and the bank does not receive the full amount of our money in this bank, how can the FDIC insure the amount invested if our return is less than the value used on our credit card. Plus the banks owe money to their employees, and the cost paid in printed materials we use to transact business. And cost of utilities, and building maintenance, and other hygene products and one begins to see how each day our return suffers cost the bank more money to remain open for business. Eventually the cash in our pockets does not equal the smount in our bank account. Snd why we must go to a different banking system that tosses out the barrowing idea of credit which was what caused the Great Depression. Those yhat pay with cash are safer than those that max their credit cards and fail to pay back all that stuff purchased on credit. Whats worse is credit card theives who pose as us and clean out our bank account using our identity. What we need to do is get rid of Credit Card Spending all together and the the credit card industry. Get rid of buying everything on Credit. Remove from circulation the Credit Card industry to strengthen the ecconomy. And reduce late fees to zero, since the credit card no longer exists. This will discourage us from buying more than we can repay. And strengthen the dollar to equal an ounce of Silver. But will take time to recover from the impulse shopping spree’s.

I’ve got to say this about Joe, I’m 70, I have moments, yes I’m not as quick as I once was. But the President does not need to have an abundance of wit, ….just needs to have a pure heart and the ability to get his ideas across to the public and Congress. He does that without a problem. The first time I heard the concept of "shrinkflation" was in an article written by Harvard professor of paleontology Stephen Jay Gould, first published in Charles Rubin's 1980 book "Junk Food". The article was titled "Phyletic size decrease in Hershey bars", and charted the way Hershey bars changed prices and sizes from 1949 through 1979. The author applied the methods of evolutionary biology to analyze the trends in consumer goods pricing. Never heard the term "shrinkflation" until now.

I can't believe I'm saying this but his state of the union address was the best I've ever seen! I was absolutely loving it every time he went off script & told the creeps off! I can't believe I'm saying this but I was yelling at the TV like GO JOE TELL THEM WHO YOU ARE!!!! I'm not kidding I was all set to vote for trump but this state of the union absolutely changed my vote. At this point there is nothing trump can do to get my vote back I really didn't know how much joe had done for us and I'm so grateful that he stood up for himself and told all of us who he is & what he has accomplished while in office! His office does not do a good job of informing the public about the bills he passed. He set the record straight!!!!

#2 is hilarious, but also a wonderful and saddening display of how damaged our democracy is. Lankford's expression, and his muttering of "it's true" is so surreal. he knows that his own party is lying about the bill they helped write. too many Republicans are content with playing politics rather than doing their jobs.

I am grateful for your support in advancing women's health research and investment. Your admirable long political career from a working-class background is genuinely inspiring. I hope we have more people like you who work for the American people. Young people need wise adults who can admire and have as role models and inspiration. Thank you, Dr. Jill Biden and President Biden.

Shortly after he won the Presidency in 2020, Biden said "I pledge to be a president who seeks not to divide, but to unify; who doesn't see red states and blue states, only sees the United States". If you ask me, it doesn't look like he has been able to stay true to his pledge.

Exceptional speech given by President Joe Biden! This is what a True, Focused and Uniting President promotes, wants and desires for his Citizens! Joe promotes people working together towards a common goal, a better life for the people, rather than Hate, Division, Self Absorption, Mean Spiritedness and Ongoing Chaos! Peace, Hope, Integrity and Courage is needed at this time! ♥🕊

I agree@@Lovefury455100%!! When someone has that much Hate within them, it conveys that the person is coming from a place of lack and emptiness! The person needs to get Honest with themselves, about their values, morals, actions, words and how they lead their life and treat others daily! Hopefully the Hater, eventually surrenders their need for Control, Power and asks for Grace and Forgiveness from a Higher Power/ Source! No one is Perfect, and we need to be man or woman enough to acknowledge that! Peace to All!
