Today, Tom visits Holmes Mercedes in Shreveport, Louisiana to take a look at the 2020 Mercedes SL 450 Roadster.
The 2020 SL 450 is an amazing combination of comfort, luxury, and performance. Word has it that this will be the final year for this generation of the SL 450. It will be interesting to see what changes and upgrades are found in the next generation. In the meantime, I can say that my time with the 2020 version was enjoyable!

This SL model (R-231) is undoubtedly much more comfortable, smooth, practical and elegant than the new AMG-SL (R-232). I don't think about changing it or crazy !!!

I love my SL450. I hope they don’t push forward with having a soft top for the 2021 model. That is what the AMG GT is for . All it needs are the vertical front grill , new tail lights and bigger rear diffuser.

Tom it is real wood in the interior. Always has been. Leather is another story, although most US spec cars are standard.

That model when new was about $110,000. List is a good bit lower now in 2023 ($70,000-?). If you have one of these do not get ride of it. The costs to replace are much higher.

Nope, it IS the 2020. I have the same model and it is the 2020, last model of the series.
