The Elevation songs you refer to are certainly masterpieces. However, not everything he did with Elevation was on the same level too. Some on the same recordings were not on par. All artist do that. Some of Beethoven's works are not as good as others. Give him time, it's still early in his solo career. I still think he's putting out some good stuff though. I'm enjoying it.

Collaboration can be very powerful and sometimes it can be very unhelpful. Certainly Elevation with Mack Brock had a good thing going. However, sometimes if you stay with the same people in collaboration it can become stale and perhaps Mack sensed that was beginning to happen. We don't know. Hopefully given time and a little more experience, Mack will produce some great solo stuff. Time will tell.

Maybe he'll return at some point. I don't think he's said he has plans to do so. He's still at the church but he's not on the worship team. He just wants to go solo and stretch his creative wings. According the Biblical teaching found in 1st Corinthians 11 verses 2 to 16 a christian man should not cover his head when he prays , prophesies , and also when he worships God , since there are prayers inside every worship christian song .

Thank you for your comment. That passage in 1 Corinthians is very confusing even to the best of scholars. If you look at any number of commentaries you'll find that they are very confused if you look closely at the arguments and language in the Greek. Given that, I do not wish to turn this into some kind of debate on a passage that many good people can disagree on. However, I will just point out that in Paul's day, the culture associated women who did not cover their head (especially in worship) to have low morals when it came to sexuality and this could extend to gender roles in people's perception at that time. In the passage Paul is contentiously concerned with roles and gender and the perception of those things in dress. The point he appears to be making is about gender roles and modesty. Paul wants women and men to look their gender role and be modest and not buck their societal perceptions since that would raise much talk in a honor shame society. Today if women dressed the way they did then with covering their hair it would not speak to what Paul was getting at so covering hair today is not the same as it was in that culture. Covering women's head today is associated with women being inferior and Paul points out in this passage that women and men come from each other and are equal in the Lord. So as long as men and women look like men and women and are not immodestly causing a scene in society, I believe they are following Paul's concerns in this passage. God bless you.

Inside 1st Corinthians 11verses 2 to 16 Apostle Paul said why christian woman should cover with a veil her head , and why Christian man shouldn't , when they pray or prophesy ; it's neither because of the Christian modesty nor the influence of the culture at that time upon Apostle Paul ; but rather because every Christian must respect the "Divine Order of Authority" revealed by Apostle Paul in 1st Corinthians 11verse 3 by saying this : "But I want you to understand this : The head of every man is Christ , the head of woman is man , and the head of Christ is God" ; that's to say : God , then Jesus Christ , then Man , then Woman . The "Divine Order of Authority" is still exists ; therefore Christians must keep respecting that . According to Apostle Paul : 1- Every christian man must respect and make appear the "Divine Order of Authority" by not covering his head , because man is the image and the glory of God ( 1st Corinthians 11verse 7 ). 2- Every Christian woman must respect and make appear the "Divine Order of authority" by covering her head with a veil , because woman is the glory of man , also because of angels ( 1st Corinthians 11verses 7 and 10 ). Many Christian women believe that their hair are their veils because in many versions of the Bible 1st Corinthians 11verse 15 says this : "but long hair is a woman glory , long hair is given to her as a covering" . The translator should write "as an adornment" because the greek word used by Apostle Paul is "peribolaion" that means "cover in order to adorn". That's one of reasons for which many Christian women don't want to cover their heads . God bless !

However, when I studied Greek I learned that when talking of hierarchies and similar things, the Greek will place the most important first. That's not what Paul does. Paul starts with husbands and ends with God in v. 3. The way Paul is using the language here suggests Paul has another intention in mind. Thank you for your opinion but I guess I'll have to disagree. As I said before I don't wish to get into a debate on a matter good people disagree on. If you want to keep commenting then you can have the last word but I'm not going to keep debating this with you.
