@@sedlyf9251 Long story short, their manager (Stan Polley) stole all their money to pay some crazy debts he had created and Peter Ham ended up committing suicide in 1975 because of it. Tom Evans (the bassist) also took his own life in 1983. There's lots of videos and websites talking about their story on the internet if you are interested, just be aware that it is a very depressing and f*cked up story.

Badfinger was robbed by manager Stan Polley from 1971 - 1975. Pete comitted suicide in April 1975. A retooled Badfinger with Tom Evans and Joey Molland started in 1979-1981. Molland left the band. Badfinger continued with Evans and Bob Jackson. 1983 another bad manager took advantage of the band, and Tom committed suicide in November 1983.

Pete Ham. This may be one of the saddest facts in all of rock & roll history. A promising career, sponsored by the Beatles themselves, reaping success after success until, suddenly, everything went overboard, leaving the members of Badfinger in the most absolute ruin, discovering one of the biggest scams that have occurred in the world of music. Stan Polley, the band's manager, had taken all the money from the advances Warner Music had given out and had vanished with the money, leaving the group with what they were wearing. The result is that Pete Ham, one of the leaders of Badfinger, drowning in debt and the situation ended up taking his own life on April 24, 1975.
