I understand that these crazy people should simply be ignored, but this one idiot, in particular, needs to be reported and ultimately blocked from making those types of comments. Eric Clapton observed that the Beatles' impact in public in their heyday was just unreal, unbelievable. Absolutely electrified any room one or more of them entered, everone perking up and aware, instantly the most famous person(s) in any room, and making Clapton's own fame feel quite a puny thing by comparison. Over 60 years of this, I think Paul's aware.

You mean with old "Sir Paul" (William). He did NOT grow up in JPM's childhood home, or in Liverpool. This was just a charade with old Bill's standard lies and coverstories. But lying in JPM's childhood home was taking it a step too far. But it was Cordens fault, since it was he who convinced "Sir Paul" to visit the house.

When the Beatles came to Michigan, in 1963, it inspired my dad to start a local rock band that played until 1972. He met my mom, and I was born in 1968. It's weird to think, that without Paul, I might not exist today. Probably not. The last song played at my dad's funeral was Lef It Be. He was buried with The Complete Beatles box set. I cried though a lot of this video. My youth was filled with watching his band play this music.

What a bold and kind thing of Paul to say to comfort James instantly. That fellow Paul is definitely God's gift to the world and speaks to the world through Paul. Just incredible Mr. McCartney, I know you have gone through so much like we all have Mr. McCartney, thank you for always being an amazing and giving human being. if I ever met you, I'm sure I'd just ball out of pure gratefulness.

My dad was a huge Beatles fan, especially Paul McCartney. I grew up listening to all of his music from the Beatles and beyond. Naturally they became my favorite band as well. Let It Be was one of the songs we played at my dad's funeral after we lost him to cancer in 2016. He would have absolutely loved this video so I am enjoying it in his stead. :)

I am a die hard metal head, born in the early 70's, and even someone like me can understand the importance and gravity of The Beatles impact on the world. A music catalog like no other. Sir Paul McCartney is a living legend. It is just awesome to see that his legend is just as strong today as it was back in their hay day. To see how gracious and humble he is after all these decades is refreshing.

First of all: William is not a legend. What he is can only be defined once the truth is out. And secondly: William is not humble at all. He is in love with himself. He was just playing it up for the cameras. Real JPM loved his fans. And JPM unlike William had Liverpool roots.

Normie, what is with you and Williams charade that makes you think this is "sO sPeCiAl" ? "Sir Paul"=William did not join Beatles until late 1966 "as an already set up affair". That means: He did NOT grow up in the house in this video. He did NOT tour with Fab four and "Let it be" is NOT about "his" dead mother. Everything in this is just a big charade. If you always come back to this you should be able to hear what old Bill says in the hairsaloon. In fact he have hinted ever since 1967 that he is NOT Paul McCartney. "Shea stadium in America 65 ?
