I WAS in a union at work. I'm so disgusted with the Labour party I have just cancelled my membership. The unions clearly support the Labour party and I am not having any of my money (which I desperately need now) going to support this party - one that thinks nothing of taking thousands in freebies, but happy to take the winter fuel allowance off pensioners and now talk of cancelling the council tax discount for single person households. Absolutely disgraceful.

I think you'll find there was publicity, otherwise we wouldn't know about "wallpapergate", for instance. The fact he was trying to call out others & saying "they should know the rules" etc. & then goes & does much worse himself, is why he's being called out! He has taken more "gifts" than anyone else since 2019!! None of them can justify what he, & they, have done & continue to do, by taking these "gifts", or should I say "donations". You have to ask yourself, what are the people/companies/clubs etc., getting in return for these donations? He earns £167,000pa & has accepted over £155,000 in donations & all the while stopping vital money for pensioners, sick & disabled & children.....our most vulnerable in society!! The utility bills for No. 10 & No. 11 have also been capped, so both he & Rachel Reeves don't have to worry about their bills increasing. Although, she has claimed some back from the tax payer for her second home!! It's a case of "I'm all right Jack" with all of them!!
