Very sorry for your loss! May his memory be a blessing! As for your a/c compressor, I recommend going with a proper Denso A/C compressor. You will also need to replace the condensor if you're doing the compressor because if the lines in the condensor are clogged at all it will burn out the compressor. Again I recommend a Denso A/C condensor as well. I think that's what Volvo uses from the factory. Most car manufacturers use Denso parts for those items. As for the mats, I typically use a drill brush on those myself. That always gets them clean.

If you got a vacuum pump hook it up and check all the components for leaks before replacing it. It provides you a good starting point knowing the system had no leaks prior to replacing it.

Hello Robert! I have something thats stumping me these past couple days. My '97 850R's idle likes to jump around from 840-870 when warm, and the exhaust sound is a little off as well. When out of gear and coming to a stop the idle won't drop past 1020 until i blip the throttle. No vacuum leaks, so i'm leaning towards MAF or idle air contol valve. The IAC valve was cleaned recently so I'd be surprised if it was that though. Other than MAF i have no ideas. Do you have any ideas on what it could possibly be? Thanks!
