Even when there is a new heavens and earth, eventually, cultural good things will surely pass through, for instance there would be Welsh music and so on, although none of the hostility to outsiders one has here on earth now, sadly, between different groups. There will be people describing what it was like in the Welsh revival of 1904, the Hebridean revival of 1949, people describing Wesley's times, and so on. Anything good in our cultures will be there, we'll be learning from each other.

@Annschrock3973...my story is similar, except it was my grandparents and only my grandfather spoke Welsh because when the English conquered Wales, they tried to stamp out the language and culture. My maternal great grandfather spoke it but not his wife, so the children didn't learn. My paternal grandfather was fluent, and history repeated itself...he never taught his offspring. So now as a mother and new grandmother, I am unable to pass on my heritage.
