Love it! My uncle traded in his Polaris ranger for one and never looked back but for some reason one problem is that the head light wire comes loose but that’s it. Rides smoother than the Ranger in my opinion

I know someone that has a 2 door can am defender and they love it. I rode in it one time and it feels like ur driving on air. Whenever you go over bumps the shocks absorb everything and there is lots of power to get up hills. It is truly a great machine.

The defender is the only way to go man. Have three buddies with them and they were all Polaris guys. One of has had Rangers over the last 10 yrs and after he had his buddies defender for a week went and traded his Ranger for a defender and just bought his new Ranger a month earlier.

I don’t have any experience with any of them, but out of the ones that you have shown, I would definitely recommend the defender lone star. It also gives it a little edge seeing as I’m from Texas.

I would go the can am defender route. I just bought mine last week and I am super excited about it. My kids were already fight on who got to drive it first before I even picked it up. I use mine mainly for hunting and It will haul six ppl and 12 hogs In the back with ease.

I have a ranger and my dad has a defender. The only thing I dont like about my ranger is the clutching sucks. The defender clutching is spot on other than that they both work really well.

Bought HD10 new Dec 2016. Love it. Pur 30 silverbacks for one ride and broke tie rod, on stump I think, which caused axle to break. Warranty covered parts and I paid labor. Perhaps driver error or maybe just bad tierod. No worries now I carry a spare. Still love it. Almost paid off now debating portals.

Dudeeeee! The defender is definitely the way to go, but which one! The lone star is super clean, but living in the south like I do, the XMR will get you through more stuff. I just bought a maverick trail 2 weeks ago, and I’m already looking at the defender for the fam. Can’t wait to see what you pick!

I have a 2016 ranger 900 xp and I can tell you first hand that they are a lot of work to keep going with all the bs issues Polaris has. If I could go back I would of gotten the can am defender. I have a 2012 can am outlander and I love my can am. The Honda pioneer is really nice also and for reliability and a work horse that's the one to go with.

Go with the Defender and never look back! In my area(east central Alabama but we come to Boggs a few times a year) the Defenders are taking over. Aesthetically almost all Can Ams are more appealing to most people and they’ve proven to be more durable than the older models.

I have a '18 RZR High Lifter (2 seater) and I love it. Does very well, even stock. I'm not brand partial and I do like the Lone Star Defender though, but I may be biased since I'm from Texas lol. I do wish I had the extra bed space at times. Depends on exactly what you're planning to do with it..

My grandma has a ranger and she drives it crazy she beats on it all the time and never has had a problem with it she takes it through the swamp every day until if freezes in the winter and it always does good. When it gets stuck we just winch it back out and keep going. It has been great for what we use it for and is pretty quick for what it is too. Like I said she doesn’t drive like a grandma either

Looks like most people saying defender. The only thing i didnt like is the winch at the bottom. A high mounted winch like the xmr, flip windshield and snorkels would make it complete. Have you considered a defender max cab?

I have the same lone Star defender it's Nice it has 13 inches of clearance and can fit 35inch tires stock but you will have to turn weird so probably 34 is the biggest tire to turn right but that thing is a beast and they go fast when you need them to and they have a really nice low range.

I bought an '18 Pioneer 1000 LE 3 seater. I really like, wish I would have given the defender more of a look, but I couldn't pass up the deal on the Pioneer with all of the accessories already on it. No issues with it yet, my family likes it but I'll be back in a Can Am sport buggy once my son can ride all day by himself..

If you like to have a smooth ride with a buggy that still has good power then a ranger is nice to have cause the Fox shocks are amazing on those from experience, can ams do have more horsepower and are quite fast but are known to break rear differentials also from experience

If you buy Polaris only way to go is highlifter so you don’t have to worry about turf mode delete... but can am also has the three wheel drive issues... locker is still cheaper then turf mode

Man we have a ranger and a rzr and a turbo 1000 rzr on 32s is insane the suspension is so plush but when you are crawling throw it in low gear and it will go any where there is not a spot it won’t go I believe it is the best all around I like our 4 door ranger 1000 but unless it has some weight in it it will get very tippy then again it is lifted on 32s where as the rzr is stock height but still plenty of clearance and so stable at all times if your in some nasty stuff disconnect the sway bar on one side and it really let’s them flex and it’s a struggle to get a tire off the ground

can am only here. we have a couple defenders in our group from stock to 10" lifts stacked on portals we bash them here in texas and the defenders hold up greatly, I can get you set up with a lot companies to get parts for them for simple review or something along those lines. audio,lifts,wheels,tires,bumpers anything and everything

I just went last weekend at looked at a 19 ranger highlighter and a 19 defender xmr at the same dealer and sales told me defender was a better deal. Defender rode better and was priced cheaper.

I got The Kawasaki 4 seater its got a metal bed and you can make the bed longer and it will be a two seater with a long bed i like it you should look at one
