Here’s a super-simple tofu recipe you can try with an air fryer. It’s crispy outside and soft inside.
All you need is to cook your tofu with an air fryer and get some vegetables and seasoning blend ready!

🌿 Air-Fryer-Roasted Soy Sauce Tofu - Easy - 2 Servings - 30 min.
[Ingredients] 1 block of tofu, 10 perilla leaves, 2 stalks of small green onion, 1 red chili pepper, salt to taste, pepper to taste, a pinch of sesame seeds
[Seasoning blend ingredients] 2 tbsp of soy sauce, a half tbsp of vinegar, 1 tbsp of sugar, 1 tbsp of sesame oil, pepper to taste
1. Julienne the perilla leaves into thin strips. Chop the small green onion and red chili pepper.
2. Remove the excess water from tofu with a paper towel. Use a knife to make cuts in a checkered pattern and sprinkle salt and pepper.
(tip. Leave your tofu half-deep uncut, since cuts on tofu open wider after being cooked.)
3. Mix all the seasoning blend ingredients in a bowl.
4. Place the tofu on parchment paper, and then the seasoning blend over the tofu.
Use an air fryer to roast the tofu at 200°C for 20 minutes.
(tip. Keep your eyes on the tofu because air fryers have different heating rates.)
5.Place the roasted tofu on a plate, and sprinkle the red chili pepper, green onion, perilla leaves, and sesame atop.
🌿 Air Fryer Tofu Mushroom Salad - Easy - 2 Servings - 30 min.
[Ingredients] 1 block of tofu, a handful of oyster mushrooms, a handful of beech mushrooms, a handful of mesclun greens, a half onion, 2 tbsp of olive oil, 1 tsp of salt, pepper to taste, radish, green peas, black sesame
[Dressing ingredients] 2 tbsp of soy sauce, a half tbsp of minced garlic, 2 tbsp of olive oil, 1 tbsp of vinegar, 1 tbsp of sugar, a half tbsp of sesame oil
1.Julienne the onion. Slice off the end of the root of the oyster mushrooms and beech mushrooms. Separate them into smaller bunches.
Wash the vegetables under running water, and remove the moisture.
2. After removing the excess water from tofu, use a knife to make cuts in a checkered pattern and sprinkle salt.
(tip. Leave your tofu half-deep uncut, since cuts on tofu open wider after being cooked.)
4. Place the tofu on parchment paper. Then place the mushrooms and onion on the tofu, and sprinkle salt, pepper, and olive oil.
Use an air fryer to roast the tofu at 200°C for 20 minutes.
5. Arrange the mesclun greens on a plate, and place the roasted tofu and mushrooms. Sprinkle the dressing over the tofu.

[Ingredients] 1 block of tofu, 1 tsp of salt, 2 stalks of small green onion, a pinch of sesame seeds
[Seasoning blend ingredients] 1 tbsp of gochujang, 1/2 tbsp of soy sauce, 1/2 tbsp of sugar, 1 tbsp of cooking oil, pepper to taste, a small amount of sesame oil
1. Remove the excess water from tofu with a cheesecloth. Use a knife to make cuts in a checkered pattern and sprinkle salt and pepper.
(tip. It is important to remove the excess water of tofu as much as possible.
Drain your tofu in a strainer. Then gently press it with a cotton cheesecloth.
Leave your tofu half-deep uncut, since cuts on tofu open wider after being cooked.
2. Chop the small green onion. Mix all the seasoning blend ingredients in a bowl.
3. Place the tofu on parchment paper, and pour the seasoning blend over the tofu.
Use an air fryer to roast the tofu at 200°C for 20 minutes.
4. Place the roasted tofu on a plate, and sprinkle the chopped green onion and sesame atop.
