Phil mate, you were my childhood. I remember when I was younger, I used to act out some of the CBBC office scenes with my dog Teddy. He's unfortunately passed away since then, but I've known I've always wanted to be a star. This was when I was about 11 or 12. I'm nearly 20 now, but I feel 30 years older. Thanks for making mine and other people's childhoods. You really are a living legend.

Thank you so much for these videos and the channel! I'm 25 and grew up with CBBC before the reintroduction of the non-human hosts and absolutely love yours and Warrick's work on the programming. You got me even more interested in TV production and definitely got me watching longer than I would have otherwise. I actually was reminded that I specifically remember using my secondary school email account when I was 11 to send an email that got read out just as I turned the telly on, saying how Hacker should get shirts to match Ian. I think there was an (at the time) long running joke about his shirts being really loud, I actually watched an interview, probably Puppet Tears where you said the same person makes yours and Hacker's shirts. So now I am wondering if I somehow walked right into an inside joke between you both that the bosses decided to throw your way 😂 Thank God they let you speak after all - still remember me and my brother's losing it about the "windpipe" bit and so many more memories and laughs. I hope wherever life takes all of you after hosting on the BBC, you can carry on entertaining the masses and screaming into the face of celebrities ♥️

I grew up with Gordon the Gopher and Edd the Duck and I've absolutely loved puppetry ever since I actually thought the golden age was over until I saw hacker I think you do an amazing job he is absolutely hilarious and you're quick witted performances are brilliant so thank you
