Ofc Israel does not accept such deals. It would be dumb to accept such deals. Accepting an exchange is only an insentive for the next round of taking hostages. If Hamas wanted peace, it is pretty easy: Lay down the weapons, come out of the bunkers and answer for your crimes. During this maybe they remeber who has all the hostages... If Israel continues after that THEN the g word is applicable. Besides, look it up, what happens in Gaza does not fit the definition.

It seems after reading parts of the Jerusalem 3000 years history, the Jews do have the right to return and live in the region however the Arabs/Palestinians have also moved and live in the region since the Jews exodus. It's a very complex situation yet even more so consider today's geopolitical climate of these politicians forth taking advantage of the crisis. At the end of the day, the killing must stop now and all should go back to negotiation table so that civilians on both sides can live in peace and its where it counts. Both Jews and Palestinians deserve that much and that second chance to make things right again with unselfish help of the international entities.

Nobody in their right mind uses 3000 years of migratory history as a right to return. Where do we draw the line if that's acceptable? Imagine if indigenous people in NA went to Asia and demanded that China give up land because their ancestors had left that region and travelled across the Bearing ice bridge some 15,000 years ago? What would people think of that? Can I go to Africa and demand land be returned to me because we all came out of Africa some 250,000 years ago? The whole right to return was a convenient way for Europe to rid itself of the "Jewish Problem" and foist it on a group of people who had nothing to do with the Pogroms, and the Holocaust. Really, Jews should be given part of Germany and other European countries who helped slaughter them and displace them for centuries.
