Agreed about Mertz. I'm still confused that people like it. Same with Nana Morrison's. It was NASTY!!!!!! Soul Food in Charlotte is definitely a MISS!

AS A big back person, wasting food drives me crazy...can u possibly ask for a small plate portion since u had the surgery . Secondly, the white restaurant are good mostly bc they follow recipes and some of the black restaurants, on top of being lazy,are cooking off the fly bc they think they can cook like their grandparents

I'm with you on wasting food! God sees that. My cousin used to throw food behind the fridge as a boy. Now, he doesn't have enough food to last through the end of the month. I would feed homeless people before I waste food.

Darius I had weight loss surgery also and you can get a card from your doctor that you show every time you go to eat that you are not able to consume that much food and they won’t charge you for that

Supperland is one of our favorite places. However, you really should have had that Ambrosia. I had never eaten it before I ate it at Supperland. It is so good. We Enjoy your videos.

And you are right about it! The food here is subpar. Even so called southern restaurants are not good. I moved here from Denver, CO and I do consider myself a bit of a foodie. They have some of THE BEST food that I've ever had.

Merts used to be really good. I was disappointed the last time I went. Happens when younger generation steps in.No one cooks like momma😂😂

I lived in Clt for (8) years now & the food is so underwhelming here. I’m so happy to know, I’m not trippin!! I will def try out Supperland. I believe food is better in SC vs NC in my humble opinion.

stats say that suicide is on the rise for black men. I’m so proud and happy for Darius is finding and seeking peace. Life is hard enough with all of the societal pressures. I truly wish him all the best!

Let us know what your opinion of Sunflower FAMILY RESTAURANT is hitting for on Statesville rd in Charlotte NC. Please. I watched a video of MR CHIME TIME eat a bologna egg n cheese from there and it looked right ✅️ i am from NC never had i been yet or heard of it until i watched mr CHIME times video about it. It is on my bucket list to visit. ❤
