the moment i saw you show an alternative to serum i dropped to my knees and bowed to your highness. a lot of people making tutorials just assume everyone can afford it or say we can use vital but not show how to mimic it on there which is tragic when a lot of us are trying to learn how to get these things to make the sounds we make in our heads. bless your soul man.

@MyANIMATIONSTUDIOMCАй бұрын
the thing that nobody ever teaches about serum or alternatives are that they're all wavetable synths... and they have the same basic features. you learn on one, and you can apply to any. most controls are labelled the same, the ones that aren't you can often figure out how they sound by just playing with them. this is why most people don't show you how to mimic it, because it's a lot of fundamentals. the downside is that they assume you know the fundamentals or expect others to make those tutorials (and they have made them! in the mix has done some great ones)

Even though I use FL Studio I frickin love your tutorials. The song design tips, the different ways to reach a point, the message that it's about how you try to achieve the sound of the wanted idea instead of one way only and the humor on top make these tutorials sooo great. Thank you

@@ashFB2B i actually discovered, not a shortcut, but other feature last night by accident. If you need to cut along a grid line, and all your tracks at collapsed you click drag on the grid line (up or down) and can slice with normal CTRL-E. (This is just another way for multitrack cut btw). Dunno how I missed it after this long but eh, always learning.

Hey Ash, I'm currently saving up for abelton suite. Would you suggest, since I plan on buying other tools like a midi keyboard and an abelton push 2, that I just buy the tools first, since they come with abelton lite, anyways?
@ashFB2B2 жыл бұрын
Ableton suite has so many more features than ableton lite + midi keyboards & push are optional maybe download the trial first to see how you like the program before buying anything
@komajikid531402 жыл бұрын
Oh for sure, but I meant more along the lines of just to get me started on abelton, while also learning the tool I’m planning on purchasing anyways. That was more so what I was asking, if you would suggest that route just to get my foot in the door?
@ashFB2B2 жыл бұрын
depends if u have experience writing music with similar tools + budget to support it then go for it if ur just getting started ableton lite is so limited you'll just get frustrated even if you have all the fancy toys. i cant give u a definitive answer cuz everyone learns / writes / makes music differently i personally think its a better use of money to go with suite - but like i said, use the trial to see if you even like the workflow / stock plugins etc
