This is the explanation I was looking for. I thought the tine arms were bent on my used rotary rake because a few of the tines were pointing straight out. I didn't realize the machine is geared that way on purpose. Thanks!

I have the same rake, except only 2 tires instead of the 4. Use it as my spare rake.
