But got a question. How do you know for absolute certain that it lacks potassium? It could be that it has a little too much of a different nutrient that causes potassium lockout. Just food for thought. Cuz I've had iron deficiency symptoms from calcium toxicity and I've had cal-mag deficiency symptoms from potassium toxicity before. Sometimes the answer isn't always as straight forward! Cheers 🥂 great content as always

A shopvac is a great investment for clearing out your drip trays without having to lift anything. I also recommend having some bamboo stakes for when your buds get too big to stay up on there own. Supercropping can alleviate that issue in some cases as well.

@@anthonypilkington5264 right I just prefer the option to I mix my own nutrients sometimes I mix 70/30 for flower re-poting , or light mix for seedlings, or 50/50 for veg. It's just more versatile and no gnats either.

So I figured out all the spray stuff and additives that people use for buds is just not good for ur cannibas and not very effective. The trick really is very simple.. keep one of those (get the better brand it's thicker) yellow sticky sheets in each of your plant containers. Just keep good airflow and put those sheets in early before there's a problem and there never becomes a problem
@lunarminx Жыл бұрын
@@First2watchmosquito bits, four tablespoons in a gallon of warm water, agitate off and on for 30 minutes or over night. Thoroughly wet the soil. Use every three days ( 72 hours ) until a week past the last majority are gone. Also add the yellow stickies. The mix has never hurt my two bearded dragons or my anole's, never hurt the clean up crew and it always seemed the plants had a growth boost afterwards.

Lay a thick layer of worm casings on the top soil and use neem meal in the mix boom no bugs in soil and neem is awesome for all kinds of good stuff for your soil also add karanja cake you want to add stuff that holds the nitrogen in your mix personally I say build your own soil I got some that’s years old and only gets better in time never removing the stumps they break down and turn into food. Kelp meal is bomb diggity and the special sauce…… crushed malted barley try it everyone if you haven’t!!!! You want good fungal activity and all the good stuff that comes with it try some malted barley wait a few days and I guarantee you’ll never grow without it again

I will have to look into it.` EDIT: A quick look shows it to be interesting, but it seems like they just made a design that's easier to refill and give you some charcoal with it for an extra $20 or w/e... I haven't tried opening mine, but the old one looked to be refillable too.

I like to use a half ocean forest or happy frog and half coco mix for my seedlings and sometimes my clones. So I normally grow in a 70/30 coco perlite mix but for seedlings it’s kinda hard to start them in coco and figure out the right amount of nutrients to feed them when they are super small seedlings so by mixing a solo cup half full with ocean forest and the other half with my coco mix then mixing it together I’ve found that it’s just enough nutrients for my seedlings until I’m ready to transplant to a one gal of straight coco perlite I only give them straight water and just let the ocean Forrest give them what they need for the first 3 weeks or so and it’s worked pretty well so far

Note on the air pumps. If you only need 1 `port, then get ones with less ports. I'm not 100% sure, but I would assume that with multiple ports, you would be getting less air per port (even though they spray regardless if you add to it or not). So I'm not sure if less ports are better. Granted, `the multi-ports are usually bigger, and might have a bigger/more-powerful `motor/pump.

With a 400 HPS...you usually take .3 and add to the CFM of the fan to remove heat...like 400 × .3 is 120 cfm to remove heat only...so you need a filter with over 300 cfm and the fan right under it like 250 cfm.
