I work on softwares which are used in these warehouses and online ecommerce websites. The product I work on is IBM Sterling. So I knew the whole flow of traffic in a warehouse. But seeing this video it has helped me more in understanding. True it has missed many relevant stages but anyways it was meant to explain in a layman term and not in detail.

I am handicapped and it is so hard to get to a store. I APPRECIATE AND I AM THANKFUL for amazon. They have everything I need and during the pandemic in the roughest times when stores here were bare.....I could get soap and shampoo dish soap paper towels toilet paper jeans dishes everything imaginable and it came so quickly. I was an Amazon customer long before the pandemic for about 10 years now and I LOVE their customer service and the prices the choices. Walmart prices on sometings are double from what I pay on Amazon. I will continue to be a customer to Amazon for as long as they are around. THANK YOU AMAZON!!!

Laptop boxes are not SIOC-capable in Fulfillment, mainly because they contain a lithium-ion battery, meaning damaging it could be a significant fire risk. Therefore, those have to be put into a separate amazon package (usually a 'P1' sized box) filled with dunnage material to prevent the item from shaking about inside, considering that Amazon boxes indeed may be thrown about a little. I'm not concerned about durability based on what I've seen personally. Although I get a little iffy when I see the occasional LCD TV that doesn't contain a professional-looking box yet is still marked as SIOC. That said, shipment damage matters should be brought up with Amazon directly and not the seller to get a faster resolution if it happens

While packing in warehouse product are with black tape but when we get the product there is transparent tape?????? It means they get changed........and we get soap but we have ordered mobile phone..

Over here in Canada, there's still the black (water) tape, but those generally are only necessary on certain box sizes such as A1, A3, 1A7, U3, S6A.etc while everything else is put through a 3M-Matic whenever possible for efficiency's sake. Incorrect items can be blamed on lousy fulfillment associates themselves but I personally haven't seen this being much of a problem, though I completely understand how it could happen; as for the end user you'd want to report the problem to Amazon and not the seller
