My chickens love canned salmon for cats, chickens are omnivores so they need to eat meat 🥓 🐟🐠 and bugs all around the yard. I even saw a chicken catch a mouse and eat it while it was still alive. If they eat only grain you'll get too much omega-6 in your eggs , which is inflammatory.
