Here's some GREAT movies I watched on Blu-ray last month

I've been waiting for the right time to pick up Messiah of Evil, and I think that time is now. Also, Chopper is great release from Second Sight. Picked up mine a couple of weeks ago and was not disappointed! Especially that packaging.

I was really disappointed that the Barbie slipcover did not have ACTUAL pink glitter all over it, and was instead just a *picture* of glitter, how boooring! So I went to the craft store, got a few different pink glitters that matched the cover, and glitter-fied it myself lol. And now it looks amazing and super sparkly! :p

Hi Elliot. I saw Barbie and agree with your second viewing assessment. Agree on Andrew Dominik and Chopper. I have only seen the original Ginger Snaps. Liked Bug. I saw Scream and Scream Again at the cinema. The other Radiance titles, I've never heard of. Messiah of Evil looks interesting. You're certainly off the beaten track with this lot - LOVE IT! Great selection of films here pal! Messiah of Evil is so good it might have even cracked my top 100 films on the first viewing, will need another watch to confirm though. I was worried that Barbie wouldn't be as good on the second viewing. Ginger Snaps is one ive not seen, but keen on checking out at least the first installment. Thanks for sharing pal 👍

I had to grab Imprints deluxe of Cross of Iron too, and im in the states. I was amazed at the new restoration, i have only seen the film on an old cheap dvd. I didnt know about the color grading. Thats unfortunate. I'll have to check out the grindhouse version that is included 😂. Did you pick up the new Alfredo Garcia deluxe box set?

The Dead Mother is an amazing movie. Karra Elejalde is brilliant as the horrible murderer who finally finds some sort of redemption. Cross of Iron is Peckinpah’s last masterpiece. Funny that you jump from Barbie to Chopper. That’s what I call contrast.

Bought Messiah of Evil with Night of the Devils. I have to say though i was slightly disappointed by Messiah of Evil. It does have stunning imagery, and some great scenes, perhaps on a second viewing I may enjoy it more. Night of the Devils I absolutely adored though, a superb movie!

Might be the wrong place to ask but can someone recommend me a good blu ray player please? One with 4k ultra HD, Dolby vision, Dolby Atmos AND multi region ABC player. Preferably reasonably priced lol 😁 Always love your work Elliot, keep up the great content! 👍

depending on how many off-region blu rays you plan on watching and what setup you have, you might want to look at a blu ray drive for a pc. I got one recently and it plays region A and B without a problem.@@andyt1869
