I love bringing a highlighter palette as my eyeshadow palette. Cheaper is often better, and it doesn’t have to match my skin. I too throw bronzer or contour in my crease and then put highlighters on the lid, light in the inner corner or all over the lid, mid tones all over the lid, and darker shades on the outer corner to add depth. You can create simple, brightening looks or more glam looks with some depth using different shades. You can even have color choices with some palettes, like gold, rose gold, and bronze. It’s my favorite everyday easy look. It’s very flattering and bright without looking like too much. ❤️

I bought supergoop unseen sunscreen in Sephora’s spring VIB sale and I have been simply loving it this entire summer and now just yesterday I bought hourglass scattered eyeshadow in the shade vivid and OMG it’s so so so pretty, now I want a full party where I can glam up and put it all over my eyelids and of course now I want more shades in that 😛

I pack travel sizes of multi-purpose products I love. I always travel with a tinted moisturizer or CC cream with SPF--my current favorite is the elf Camo CC. Laneige Lip Mask doubles--triples!--as lip treatment, lip balm, lip gloss! I love palettes that include both face and eye products, like Urban Decay Born To Run and Laura Geller Urban Garden Palette. My favorite moisturizer is First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream--I pack a travel mini of that. My ride-or-die Anastasia Brow Wiz, a red and a pinky nude lipcolor, and that's it!

I really haven't been too much into makeup my whole life until I retired and had more time to explore, as a result I didn't really know who Jaclyn Hill was. So I recently purchased the same blush palette you showed and I have been using it all the time. I love blush and I have a lot of different blushes but for some reason that one just seems to be the one I end up using the most often. I want to try the other palette too but would love to see a review on it first to see if it is different enough from that one to make it worth spending my cash on. Still loving and using your makeup bags Allie! They are so perfect for being able to keep my collection organized and I love that I can see what is in the bag without having to open them up. I used your full bag for my two week vacation and it worked fabulously!!!! I used it for all three phases - makeup in one small case, skin care in the other small case, and general toiletries in the larger. Had room for my hairbrush and a few hair minis in top! I’m so nosy, I love to see how people pack, even though I have my own routine down. Your blush palette alone was pretty much the size my travel bag. All I take with me is the Hourglass quad palette (blush, bronzer, highlighter work as eye shadows too) and it has a nice mirror. Add mascara, sheer foundation, eye brow gel, nude lip liner and 2 or 3 lippies - all mini. But I understand how creative types love their options 😉 I’m not a minimalist at home but I can’t be bothered to carry the extra stuff anymore. 😮‍💨

You with your makeup is how I am with my clothes when traveling.. I like to have options and I don’t always know what I want to wear until the day of. Now with makeup.. the only thing I change up is my lipstick and eyeshadows. Blush and bronzer, base products .. I pretty much use the same ones no matter what. 🤷🏻‍♀️

First “trip” I’ve taken since before last year was a 2 night stay at my moms house last month and I used you full size bag for my cloths and the classic set for my skin care and personal care and it all worked perfectly I would have taken my second classic bag set for my makeup but since it was just an over night trip to see my mom I didn’t bring makeup but if was bringing makeup my absolute must haves no matter what would have been milk makeup hydro grip primer, uoma beauty foundation and concealers the Zoeva cosmetics basic moment palette that is technically an eyeshadow palette but I use it as a face palette for bronzer, contour, and very subtle matte highlighting just to blend the contour, persona tinted lip balm, milk makeup kush mascara, a blush palette, at least one eyeshadow palette, and my brow pencil

I’ve discovered that the Elf Hydrating Camo Concealer in Fair Rose goes really well with Estée Lauder Double Wear in Cool Bone. It’s great coverage and is brightening while being in the same color family. The Elf CC Cream doesn’t work for me because of the Niacinamide. It’s too drying and sensitizing for use all over the face. It’s also a little makeup-y on my face-that’s just me.

You curated an absolutely perfect bag for a tropical vacation. The look you did was absolutely beautiful. I'm curious if you're able to reuse those lashes since they're so expensive? I've just gotten into using strip lashes, but haven't tried using single lashes yet. They look really difficult to use. I've been using adhesive that I apply on my eyelid, and then put the lashes right on, and they just grasp right to my eyelid.❤❤

I I have the large gray bag set. Would love to see a bag collection for curling irons and blow dryers-to include space for products. I am on a trip now and am staying for a month. I bought way too much!!!! I brought too many eye shadow pallets and your big makeup case (the best ever!!!) and another makeup case. In my defense, I am doing other people’s makeup on this trip:) I have to bring my Melt cosmetics liquid blushes, Vieve lip liners, lipsticks, bronzer, skin dew, eyeshadow pallet, blushes and her lashes, Huda Tantour, Ofra highlighter, NYX liners and Maybelline lipsticks and glosses :) the Thrive Causemetics and KKW mascaras are joined at my hip!!!
