With ya Elliot, I'm one of those friends who will help you but same time I'm always unsure of giving money out. A gift is a gift but that's kinda low. And with the cutting ties I completely get, with my ex fiance I cut all ties with him and that life minus our cats (which i still have and paid for alot) and my collection (he helped with buying some of my collection but it was mine and happy I continue it and wasn't willing to give up). You look happier and healthier, she is a lucky woman and also congrats on the engagement! Go to Italy for your honeymoon, I did and worth every penny (or euro).

Here's a good life lesson... NEVER lend out money to friends or family! It will only destroy the relationship you have 9 out of 10! If you must, GIFT that money to your friend or family and DON'T expect it back! If you do get it back, all the merrier! Otherwise, you maintain your good friendship/relationship and not ruin it over money.
