To all the people who keeps saying that she shouldn't have changed the lyrics. Let me ask you, what's wrong with using a little creativity to go with her personality? Some people in society these days, they always say be yourself and never let anyone change you for who you are, but when someone actually does that, there's always someone that's hating on the stuff that other person does. Hypocrisy much? I personally think this is a great cover. Megan's outstanding at what she's doing and people shouldn't be such a downer like that. Wow, it's literally been a year and one day since this video has been posted.

Yes she did. The lyrics are supposed to be "Singing radio head at the top of our lungs, with a boom box blaring while were falling in love, with a bottle of whatever, were still going to get drunk" and the other is line is "Running down the street yelling KISS MY ASS".. So yah she changed the lyrics but its still the same song. Probably to make it a bit more appropriate.

I honestly believe this version of Here's To Never Growing Up is much better than the original. Yes, she's using autotune, but it's so much better that way. Avril sung in a way that didn't sound very good and I could tell she could do better. Its also appropriate too, in the original song there's at least 1 cuss word or something about drinking except for the bridge, which is only like 3-4 lines long and in my book that's barely qualified as a VERSE. This is a version in which I can listen to without my parents getting mad at me and I think she's doing a better job that Avril.

Yeah, okay maybe it can be fun, I'll admit that, (that's why i said arguably a good time in the first place) but Megan makes it more appropriate and what other people may think of fun. I'm not saying Avril's version is that bad, I'm only saying I think Megan's is better. Having fun isn't always about drinking and yelling cuss words. You don't have to specifically have to run down the street yelling "kiss my ass", or get drunk by drinking a bottle of whatever, to have a good time, and Megan shows that not in some of the lyrics she changed but also by what she does in the video. She shows having a good time while hanging out at a park with some friends, going to a play castle, using hula hoops and climbing on trees(well, maybe not as much fun as funny, but watching it is as Tiffany Alford showed us). Avril showed going to prom, running down the halls, and drinking, which of course both Megan and Avril, YET AGAIN, could both be having a good time, but Megan makes it more appropriate which I personally like better.
