You should get to know , some folks who do junk removal . It’s unbelievable what people consider “trash “. Many junk removal businesses sell the stuff they come across . Maybe you could work out a deal that benefits you. As for people being nervous picking up stuff, well that is ok . People have fallen victim to those whom they meet to pick up an item . When I sell stuff, I always have my guy with me . Sadly , society in general can’t be trusted . I know of sellers who meet others as a single , and set up meetings in front of a police station. Free is always good !

One of my best deals was a bunch of Coca Cola stuff for 50 bucks. When picking up they offered 25 years of Coke Annual Stock Holder reports for free as well. The first thing I sold from that lot was those reports for 200 bucks. Free is always best.

The displays are extremely expensive they are called "in-stands" they need to be properly and carefully put away then they just appear as you pull them out

I made 100K a year as a teacher. But selling a golf club for $40, a backpack for $30, a lamp for $20….all free from the side of the road…just makes me smile and laugh. Kind of like finding treasure. 🥰🇨🇦

John, you would make a great live auctioneer - you can think on your feet, make jokes, cajole the audience. You'd have to sell higher-priced stuff to make it worth your while, but you might consider it.

I miss live auctions. Was so much easier to snatch up deals. A while ago I slid my finder to bid $25 and they nailed me for $75 by the time it registered 😡 great system for the auction havers tho. All you need now is shelving units lol
