Your costs per mile are roughly twice the average, just to put it into perspective. I still think you made the right choice, as an S600 is way more car than your average vehicle.

My S600 is a near lemon, tbh. Lots of stuff failed much sooner on mine than it should have. I suspect this is like that for a lot of them. But it's only dumb stuff that fails. Otherwise, it is mechanically solid. Just the electronics and plastic tabs. So many broken plastic tabs.

Most companies do not cover an extended bumper to bumper warranty on older luxury cars so yes you can get these cars cheap but maintenance could be several thousand a year without a warranty!
