As an American dealing with the same type of politicians back in the U.S, the only answer to this situation regarding the current politicians in power who are not listening to the people's demands for a ceasefire in gaza after countless peaceful protests, then the answer is to vote them out during the election and vote for politicians who will listen to the demands of the people. In the U.S we have Cornel West, Jill Stein, who do listen to the will of the people and want a ceasefire to happen and probably many more candidates whom I haven't heard of that want a ceasefire. I may not know about UK politics, how they work and who are the politicians in their upcoming election if there is one but there has to be other candidates in the UK to vote for who actually wants to listen to the people's demand for a ceasefire so that they can replace the ones that don't.

On Saturday before the march I met a wonderful lady called Zara and we had a coffee. Zara, a family doctor, flew all the way from Bordeax to join the march in London because of the restrictions being placed on protestors in France. That is how much this issue means to people.

Every single person who marches in these protests is deluded. Douglas Murray raised a superb point. If you are going to march because you think Palestine should be given to the Palestinians, then what about the UK? Do you think if we did the same that all these protesters would be marching in our British streets? Also, and just as poignant, why do they think that our governments and even our councils are going to make the slightest difference to the war between Gaza and Israel? Voting for a ceasefire will have NO bearing on anything over there. That’s why we have governments. Some countries sadly have dictators instead or terrorists for leaders. These people will NOT stop and listen to another country giving their opinion. Wake up!! All these marches are bleeding our economy dry taking the police away from fighting other crimes.
