I loved his Pac 12 knock and I appreciate his challenging the system. I rewinded for my wife to watch his halftime interview and how he questioned calls and made the interviewer part of it versus making her the enemy. She got it. Coach Leach is always respectful but does come up on the short side of yellow hanky. It is CALLED JOB SECURITY.

He had a legitimate gripe with the officiating. It’s hard not to like The Pirate. He almost always speaks his mind which is a rarity. His refusal to conform to the norms of his profession absolutely cost him opportunities and that’s a shame. He’s never really had a team with top 10 talent yet produces some of the most prolific offenses year in and year out. There’s some knocks on Leach but the same could be said for 99% of coaches. Dude is a National treasure and must be protected at all costs.

As a Georgia fan who doesn’t bash Stetson but also doesn’t praise him, I was begging the coaches through my TV go just let him throw it, the run was getting them nowhere! Might’ve ended with a big lead but that game felt close for a long time to this Georgia fan, hats off to that Miss St!

I feel the same way almost every game. What are we doing 1 and 10 running the ball if we get 3 yards we are going to run it again then if we get 3 more yards we might run it again or throw to lad, Milton, Macintosh, or Washington. Most times I feel like if you don't trust him to throw it pull him Carson Beck can sling the hell out of the ball. I can wait to see what he does when he is getting reps with the ones next year.

The one thing that stood out to me about the game, and its probably indicative of where UGA is different from just about every other team in the country, are the number of times UGA stopped them on 4th down. Georgia has a priority on defense and the rest of them seem to treat defense like that "other" thing a team does. I don't remember any of the after the game shows even mention those 4th down plays. Seems like it was 3 or 4 times. Kirby said not long after he got here that if we wanted to beat Alabama we needed more ( I think he said " a LOT more") big fast guys on the line. That's what he's been doing, and it showed.

That was a great game, State Dline ain’t got shit to be ashamed of them boys came to play and pushed us around. Special teams was on point too. I watch Mike’s post games every week regardless, dude is my dream drink a beer and talk football guy. lol Final note- officiating was shit on both sides of the ball. Just total garbage.
