I totally agree with you. Two Winters ago I really started digging into the world health organization in the world economic forum. I was talking to the people in my life about it and they were looking at me like I was crazy. Fast forward these couple years and I got off social media and stepped out of all the lives of people that want to live behind the Rose colored glasses. Once we finally wake up and we see the reality of things the only way to go back is just to be numb. But that's not for me.

Before I came to Christ, I personally held a favorable view of communism. I think it was my optimistic outlook on human nature and my ignorance of history that shielded my eyes from the truth. When I was saved though, I started to look into history more and I came to the conclusion that Communism is an failed ideology which when tried leads to dictatorships and suffering on a massive scale. I remember when I first learned about the Cambodian genocide that occurred during Pol Pot's Communist regime, it absolutely destroyed any positive notions that I had on Communism as a whole and I personally think people should be taught about this event in schools; I certainly wasn't taught this while I was in school.

Thanks for this. The label “soft totalitarianism” is quite accurate. My state, Victoria, (city - Melbourne) has made me “prefer”, the ease of having every amenity within 20 mins aka 20 min city. When I visited Perth, I realised I hated driving more than 20min anywhere, but I had to because this state didn’t implement any of this rubbish. But it was a discovery thru my discomfort that I’ve been literally brainwashed to prefer the closeness. I really appreciate her lecture. I agree with all of her points. I truly believe with regard to be with like-minded individuals, and in Christians specifically - that my electoral candidates were Not available for our country to choose from. Where are our leaders in place to emphasize this, and push for more of our majority? I am glad she is blessed to bring this more to the light. To quote my spouse, "There is no right way to be wrong". ride share system is not communism, look, in the US, Uber and Lyft are for profit companies providing trips to often relatively wealthy riders, the drivers are using their own cars, risking the wear and tear on their vehicles, to get paid by Uber and Lyft, and Uber and Lyft are making lots of money doing this. This is exploitation. Now what would be wrong with a ride-share program like you seem to be suggesting? Is it against God to say, get reimbursed for turning your car in to be ridden by anyone who needs it, so that we don't all feel the need to own a personal vehicle, so that there are fewer cars clogging up parking lots and driveways? Urban areas are great for these programs since there is a lot of congestion. Would God be upset? Some types of christians baffle me with the kinds of things they get upset about, as though Jesus is angry about ride share. What the heck.

I've heard those described at how Jews must obey 617 (or more or less?) laws to perfectly obey God, but non-Jews have a smaller set to be EQUAL in terms of obedience to God.
