I like how theologist look at the 'Theory' of evolution and go like "Lies! You even cant prove it!!" and every scientist is like "We'll yeah. Its a theory. But there is evedince to suggest its likely to true I combination with the theory of sexual attraction. It not perfect. We are still searching" and theologist goes "See!!! My book only has facts cause it says so. It doenst have to search for awnsers!! Those were given by man 2025 years ago that died of bad hygiënic practices!"

He doesn’t have it yet, and can’t afford to play with the fact that when he dies his creativity will be lost when it would be very beneficial when we inherit the world soon. Not to mention he will have to go through the devastation of the end times knowing he could have lived on.

Perhaps, the imperfection which you see, with your human mind, is part of the perfection that God proclaims, and you try, in your terms, to justify as not perfect!

@22:52 Pastor Will Duffy explains perfectly in so many words, WHY Truth is vital when explaining reality, and WHY citing the Bible when in error is so egregious. That it sends the horrid message that the Bible itself is in error and untrustworthy when we use it incorrectly to support error. ..But Will said it best. 😁❤

"What does the Bible say about the ice age?" - The answer is self-evident! The Bible was written by people in the Middle East who had no concept of an Ice Age. And so, nothing is mentioned about it. Neither directly, nor inferred.

I'm addressing the name of your channel. Why do you believe there are a special amount of answers, or especially significant answers, in a book that was written many thousands of years ago? Many other books and many other verses were composed thousands of years ago. Do the much older tales of Gilgamesh hold even more answers than genesis? And genesis describes phenomena similar to what you would see in other myths. Does your ministry believe all myths from all cultures are true? If not, on what grounds can genesis be said to be more true or contain more answers than those other myths--or stories if you prefer that term? Can you demonstrate that genesis has answers to someone who does not believe? Can you do this demonstration with scientific rigor? Can you prove your statement, in other words? If you can't prove it, why should someone believe you? If you choose to argue that people should accept claims like "there are answers in genesis" without proof--or on faith--it raises problems. I listed the ones I could think of below. Do you think God wants people to believe things without proof? If so, why does God share this trait with people like dictators, lying children and cult leaders? People are supposed to be sinful and not as wise as God. If that is the case, does God expect us to trust that, say, a pastor who asks people to have faith in what he is saying is completely different from a cult leader that asks people to have faith in what they are saying, or a cheating husband or wife who asks a spouse to have faith, or a kid who wants you to believe their story, or a dictator who wants you to believe the news he shows you? I understand that most religious people are not monsters like that. But every Christian denomination (and every other religion in the world) makes millions of dollars in donations. In the United States, you get to avoid taxes, too. Only the richest people in the United States normally get to avoid taxes. And most of this under-taxed money is made through donations or through selling your products like books and religious items. Is that not a potential incentive for ministries to want you to believe in something that they can't prove? Protestantism started, after all, partly as a response to the commercialization of Catholicism--to the sale of relics and indulgences and the building of grand, palacelike buildings for church leaders full of gold, and the accrual farm businesses with their own built in labor forces, whole banking institutions, and private armies. Given that this is the history of Christianity and of many other religions, does God expect us to have faith in the words and scriptures presented by the religion(s) of pastors? After all of that history, isn't the onus on pastors to prove that their claims are true and not, rather, stories used to manipulate people out of their money and time? Even if your ministry is one of the many who do live and work on the edge of poverty, are there not psychological benefits for the pastor who convinces people to share the same faith as them? Does ministering not make a pastor feel less lonely? does it not make them feel like their faith is justified? Does gathering many people who agree with you into a room to worship the same ideas not make a person feel good? If not, then why does Christianity call people disbelieving in a faithful person and their faith and your faith a trial? Finally, is it reasonable to say that believing you will not die and disappear forever, that you might go to Heaven instead, and that while alive you have will the power of God on your side, are all psychological benefits that a religious person receives for having faith? If so, then is it reasonable to believe without proof that genesis has answers? Rather than the alternative: that thinking genesis has answers makes pastors feel good and that getting other people to have faith in genesis increases this good feeling as well potentially earning the pastor decent living without going to a laborious job every day.

How does evolution explain the reproductive cycle of mudskippers? The male makes a J-shaped burrow attracts a female, which then deposits it's eggs inside and after the eggs are fertilized, the male oxygenates the eggs by gulping outside air and expelling it inside doing it multiple times over a week. Once it's ready for hatching, the male floods the burrow to facilitate the process. Quite a complex set of behaviors that a species needs to get right at the outset don't you think?

Quote: "what the Bible says about the tower of Babel and emphasizes the tremendous evidence supporting this biblical account." Comment: And yet, the video provides next to nothing. How peculiar. What we do know, from Young Earth Creationists accounts: The tower of Babel was build approximately 100 year after the Flood, at a time where the total human population on Earth was 400 people. (We may assume half of those were women and not employed in tower-building). So (maximum) 200 men (farmers) decided to build a tower that could reach the heavens (an idiotic endeavour, doomed to fail) and this perturbed God to.a point that he decided he had to intervene and break them up? So apart from the story, what actual evidence exist that supports this narrative? You believe you have the base of the structure? Good. It can be dated scientifically. Has it been done? No? Why not? You claim "tremendous evidence supporting this biblical account". What is it?

The thing about witnesses in the bible is that you need witnesses when confronting another member of the church about a conflict. It doesn’t say that you need two or three witnesses to confirm scientific things. Also, it’s humanity, not man, you sexist.

Truth of God's Word definitely needs to be taught correctly. Matthew 15:5-7 English Standard Version 5 But you say, ‘If anyone tells his father or his mother, “What you would have gained from me is given to God,” 6 he need not honor his father.’ So, for the sake of your tradition, you have made void the word of God. 7 You hypocrites! Well, did Isaiah prophesy of you, when he said:
