I love this ....and by the end... I actually had tears in my eyes from seeing your family pics... and I totally relate to how daunting a task just viewing negatives can be. I did wedding and event photos for many years and its so nice to be able to now give my former clients a way to see and use their negs! Mine too! Thank you Omar!!

Instead of an expensive scanner, get a film holder for your camera. Use macro lens, usually around 50mm to take a picture of the negative. Then in lightroom you can easily invert the colors using the curves. Since you already have good LED lights you will save on those too. It's pretty fast and a great way of archiving photos.

What a good looking family! And the photos are really beautiful! My parents didn't care about composition or anything like that. It was just point and shoot. But their film photos look better than their digital ones, haha.

Great video! I have been going through my grandparents photos (now deceased) and I have several boxes of negatives that I need to go through. I have looked at a lot of them by holding them to the light and noticed that there were a lot that I have never seen printed. I bought a scanner that scan's slides and negatives and saves them to an SD card. It works really well but it doesn't scan the larger negatives. I will try this app and see how it does. There are a lot of negatives. My grandparents were born in the 20's, raised during the great depression, and my grandpa was in WW2 so there are quite a lot of photos and negatives of their lives, as well as all of their parents photos and beyond. Thanks for this video!
