Also, there's absolutely no need to have fast wings on both sides of the field. In some of Sarri's teams, he overloads one side of the field, usually the left. Coincidentally Milan has fast players on the left wing that can overload defenses with overlapping runs - Theo, Rafa and Rebic all can outrun almost anyone. If Milan does the same on the right, this can become one-dimensional and easier to defend, not to mention you need at least 3 super-fast players on the right, because players need rest. I wouldn't call Calabria or De Ketelaere slow, but Davide & De Ketelaere excell at other things. They can rely on 1-2 passes and cut-ins, while both have good vision and technique and can take opponents head on, thus creating numerical superiority. This is an absolute nightmare to cover for a defense in transition. Should they cover the overlapping runs on the left, leaving space on the right, or put bodies on the right and leave open corridors on the left. With such diverse players you can actually start without a striker, in a similar fashion to Spalletti's Roma, when Totti was a false nine and they used a 4-6-0. This will off-load our (Milan) aging strikers and on few occasions they can take a rest. Playing withouta real striker will cause absolute chaos in a lot defenses, especially in the "provinces" (any fan of Serie A, knows what that means).

Perhaps what I like the most of what I'm seeing here is his unselfishness and his intelligence to know when a teammate is in a better position than him. He reminds me a little of Kaka, albeit a slower but maybe even more technical version of the Brazilian legend.

We used 18M from the 35M you paid for CDK to buy Yaremchuk, 18M was our record paid fee, he scored 1 goal all season, we too are disappointed. But I have been watching club bruges for 25 years, even training sessions and I can tell you CDK is one of the top 3 most talented players I have seen here, with perisic 10 years ago and Noa Lang today. I'm confident the talent will come out because what CDK can do with a ball is silly

He's most often played as an attacking midfielder yet his preferred position is as a striker. Hopefully Milan can guide him into making the right positional choice and develop him into an expert in that position. Imho he has most potential as a target man. He could become a type of player like Peter Crouch with more technical skills. I think he would struggle as AM given his limited speed.

Wow Milan have a lot of technical midfield players now. Bennacer, adli, Diaz, tonali and De Ketelaere. Tonali is more the warrior box to box type CM but still skilful. Also have krunic and bakayoko. Kessie Is a big loss though and difficult to replace for Milan... But Pioli is really building something exciting at Milan and he's recruited well in the off season. In fact, what's impressive about this Milan team is players all across the park are quite technical. Calabria, Hernandez, Leao, Rebic even the strikers are more technical - Giroud and Ibra. Although these two strikers are good, they are old and a bit slow so I think Origi is another smart buy for Milan because he played in the faster, more physical premier league and he's showed he can score on the biggest stage. I think Milan will be ok because we have good depth in pretty much all positions except maybe LB. RW is arguably slightly weak for Milan too though. The transfer strategy has been recruit good players that aren't big names on the transfer market. This is a much more intelligent transfer strategy than other supposed big clubs out there such as man united. (I know the finances in Italy aren't strong atm) The big question for Milan in the upcoming season is how far can they go in the champions league. It's a team with a lot of technical players but how will it compete against the very best of the PL, Spain and Germany?

Si va bene, però io guardo anche i difensori e i loro movimenti. In tutto il video, si vede un solo fallo. Esempio; c'è un azione nel quale fa un paio di sombrero al difensore, che si sbilancia e va in terra, bene in Italia, mentre pensava di fare il primo, lo avrebbero già steso. Il giocatore ha tanto talento e si vede, ma per diventare un calciatore deve crescere molto e ci vorrà del tempo. Sinceramente il prezzo che chiede la sua società è più da giocatore pronto, che da giocatore da formare
