@starkravingralph2 ай бұрын
@@AhmadKhan-n6h4v lobbyists are absolutely like the worst problem when it comes to change. When I was volunteering and working for a non-profit for donations for the environment where I am the Long Island sound, it was almost impossible to get a lot of money out of very very wealthy people. I would go into normal places like rural or Urban Jungle type you know everyone would consider ghetto and I actually live in an area like that, I moved there willingly knowing what I was moving into , online I do come across as an asshole in real life I actually am but I will give you the shirt off my damn back but I will never give it to someone who wants to steal my vote and my freedom but I digress, the reason the Long Island Sound out here in Connecticut and New York have trouble changing anything were mostly because of the lobbyists fighting for the oil companies. Cigarettes they have their own lobbyists and they have enough money to pay for all the ads they have to pay for the non-smoking ads LOL it's just a big circle and wealthy people do not pay into anything, I got the most money for the environment out of people further away from the sound the ocean and they had definitely less money because they were giving me change and little children were actually busting open their little piggy banks but not actually literally breaking them, but they would tell me hold on a moment let me go get you some money and it would be like an 8 year old and it's amazing to me that people think wealthy people because they seem to have better manners or are more cultured whatever the heck that all means, are somehow better than the average human being when we're all human and it drives me insane because this is an echo chamber and when I do go deep like this I'm usually Shadow banned by KZbin or someone reports the truth and I don't know who sees what which is all totally against our first amendment but does KZbin even care about that no because we do sign up for it when we agree to use their platform. And their lobbyists made sure that loophole was definitely there for them.

Project 2025: The Heritage Foundation, sometimes referred to simply as "Heritage," is an activist American conservative think tank based in Washington, D.C. Founded in 1973, it took a leading role in the conservative movement in the 1980s during the presidency of Ronald Reagan, whose policies were taken from Heritage Foundation studies, including its Mandate for Leadership. Project 2025: First, let's remember that regulations are usually put in place when a problem has already been identified: when worker or consumer health, wealth and safety have already been jeopardized by business practices already in play. With that said, some of the worst examples of how deregulation ( or not implementing or enforcing existing regulation which is essentially the same thing ) hurts consumers and workers, which in return leads to price gouging.
