$2.15 in Northeast Ohio. After oil prices dropped to almost zero last spring due to virus and too much supply... and then stopping production I bet we will see a deficit soon. Oil companies will want to make some nice profits to make up for last year losses and then we will see it drop back as production kicks up again.

You, my friend are a serious Motor Mouth. Well I'm an old body Man & Dragracer, did all that stuff for about 60 years, so, as you can guess I'm a couple of days older than dirt. Right now I'm working on making my old flow bench from the early '70's flow over 1000 cfm. I'm about to wear my lathe out making all the pieces, whew. My wife just bought a 2017 used Fusion Energi. What a neat car, this thing had under 8K on it, so I was nervous, how come it's 3 years old and ain't been nowhere? I took it to a buddies muffler shop and put it over his pit to be sure it hadn't been wrecked. We spent 30 minutes under it with flash lights looking at the bottom. I don't think this thing had ever been on a dirt road, talk about clean, but definitely not wrecked. I don't mind driving a rebuild, I just want to be the guy doing the rebuilding. This car will do most of our driving on electric power, but Ford sure never told anybody just what this car would REALLY do. We've gotten as much as 28 miles on electric (rated @ 20), which is the equivalent of 97 mpg, and it gets over 40 mpg on Hybrid, but the real deal is the average mileage. We just leave it on EV/Hybrid/automatic, so it runs on EV till it runs out of battery, then switches to hybrid, BUT it get in a kind of ZONE where it's running on the electric motor, while the Hybrid is charging it. In this ZONE we've seen as much as 250 mpg. We bought a 240v Level 2 charger, this lets us go to town in the morning, come home for lunch, charge it while we eat & it's good to go in the afternoon. We did that today. At the moment it's sitting on almost 70 mpg average, all this out of a good looking, full sized sedan.

Over an extent of time not instantaneous, what don’t people understand about that. It’s not an overnight sudden change.. of course gas prices are higher in Cali and other large expensive cities and states... Cost of living is higher than other states... Where I’m from its $2.50 on average but the price has been increasing and decreasing over the summer up until now.. Prices on anything increase or decrease it’s how the economy works, there’s lulls in the economy which cause prices to subside and then booms which increase. It’s been occurring since the begging of money currency and will continue to.. Exact reason why most large employers increase pay called “cost of living” every 6 months or a year...
