For leaky gaskets in the oil system (not the transmission), how much ATP AT-205 should I use for a 4.0L engine? Please advise. Thanks.

CAN ANYONE TELL ME IF THE 2005 MAZDA TRIBUTE IS A SOLID LITTLE CAR? IT IS IDENTICAL TO THE FORD ESCAPE DURING THOSE YEARS. IT HAS A 3.0L V6 DOHC . WILL THIS CAR LAST 300-500K MILES WITH RELIGIOUS MAINTENANCE?

When first starting a car it runs at a higher RPM should you wait till the RPMs idle down to normal before you put it in gear and drive?

I'm shocked Scotty isn't making the exact same video about Tesla. He isn't afraid to eat crow and double down. Happens when you shove everything in one basket.

No honest mechanic is afraid of a scanner. A scanner just points you in a direction amd then its takes knowledge to figure out problem. This type of scanner is good for oarts sellers though as people start throwing parts at a car because of a bad diagnoses

Right now, Nissan is the only reliable mid-size pickup manufacturer. Yep, that is how bad things have gotten, Nissan trucks and big SUVs are now considered more reliable than Toyota, and others. Honda still got the best mid-size SUVs, but they don't make a full size SUV (Pilot is mid-size, not full size).

I just picked up a 2022 SR5 premium "XP Package" 4Runner with 37k miles, it was purchased from the same dealer it was traded in. all service records and maintenance done at the original dealership. God answered my prayers with this one!

In reality, most US companies today take as many shortcuts as possible. Why? Because they’re being run by ‘Higher Educated Bean-Counters”. Their incentive is simple. Save the company money and besides the great salaries and benefits, ‘Bonuses’. During my 40 years while in the manufacturing sector, I witnessed the quality of products diminish to the point, that like back in the 50’s, the “Made In Japan” stamp was a laughable “Stamp or approval’. Not anymore!

Not only that, but they are rolling car emissions back to 1980. Now we should be able to get less complex, more reliable and easier to fix cars! That is a big thing.
