Honstly I wana more couse I bought the 2019 in December its dont have wings or the other future but I really think the A10 speed auto is much batter and faster in track its shifts faster but I really dont know can the 2SS beat the 1LE in reac track for certain 1LE will endure more couse it's more set up for the track but I dont I think it's faster then 10Speed auto another things I know the 1LE has electric limited slips differential what about the 2SS does it has limted slip differential

I recently got a ‘18 SS MANUAL. I previously had to 5th gen v6s automatics. The manual is so fun just not a good daily driver. The first mod I did was delete the mufflers. It’s a shame how quiet they are from the factory, now I have more crackles & pops & didn’t void my warranty, a WIN WIN

Anyone buying this car should get it in the 6 speed stick. The auto becomes like driving a real fast Impala after a while. A stick just ads to the fun factor. Been driving mine for over 40k miles now and it doesn't get old.

I found this car (yes, the one in the vid) for sale in SLC, UT in late October 2024. Only had 23k miles on it. I flew from Indy to buy it and drove it home... its now in my collection. Over 20k in options! I love this car. I thought I'd hate the wing but it's really grown on me. I've since changed the wheels to OEM 1LE. Much better!

I doubt it, I've never seen an SS for that much, even the convertibles aren't nearly that high. But I agree, that's way too much for an SS. I paid $36 for my '17 SS M6 brand new

I’m honestly curious how you could even get the price up past 60k. I got a 2020 2SS with mag ride, sun roof, red/black exterior, gun metal rims, dual mode exhaust, and GPS Nav. Even after adding a 100,000 10 year bumper to bumper warranty, and a 7 year Rim warranty, I spent no where near 60k. Was more like 51 after all said and done.

I picked up a new 2020 2SS Shock and Steel back in June. For under $50k the 2020 Camaro SS is tough to beat. I like the small spoiler over the big wing shown in this video though. Great video and I agree with most everything you said 👍🏻

The new Camaro is really a track car unlike the Challenger and Mustang. Most people boast about those cars being faster...yeah maybe on a dragstrip but on a track Camaro SS takes the win! I own a 2020 Camaro SS and I love it!! BTW nice video!

At my age comfort is really important which is why I would have to opt for a Challenger in place of a Camaro. I tried to get into a Mustang GT 350 and I couldn't get into it with that weird seat. I don't want to have to fight to get in or out of a car no matter how fast it is.

I'm the owner of 2019 1LT w/RS Package. Absolutely love my car!! Obviously the V8 is fun to drive but the V6 is definitely no slouch either and is pretty fun to drive too! I agree with you on the USB ports and the armrest. That whole thing is a bit weird. The reason for the slant screen is indeed for sun glare (per the dealership). Thanks for the review!!

I think that the 1LT w/RS package V6 is a truly underrated sports car. I always felt that if it didn't have the "Camaro" name, GM could easily sell that version a great handling sports car (comparable to 370Z, new Supra , etc) without the derision of the hardcore V8 or nothing crowd

TheMirageowner the v6 and 4cylinder are a little under ratted but they are wack... the ford ecoboost mustang with the ford performance tune has camaro ss power / 0-60’s etc, but the camaros lacks... it can be beat by a fusion sport, or taurus sho... both sedans, and both in a similar price range... but the 4cylinder camaro could be better then a v6, i mean ford did it.

I rented one of these in Hawaii....it wasn't specc'd like this one but it still had the V8 and brembo brakes, leather, Bose... Most of the good stuff... And damn it was fun....so flat around the corners, and it sounds amazing when you really step on it....and yeah I also did prefer shifting it manually... I felt like the automatic shifted too often and it wasn't smooth. I also didn't feel to cramped in the cabin, but I had a hard time driving around in parking lots and avoiding curbs

No you’ll need wider wheels but if you want performance for the money get a lt1 stock it’s 3.9 but if you add 275 wheels you can get a 3.6 0-60

I love the controls for the heater/AC. Going to another brand I notice how great they are compared. So easy and it's all on one knob. The Bose stereo is great, though I want better. The handling is amazing.

Bro that center console thing hurt my brain. I have this car and the console is definitely not a problem and I can't figure out why someone would open a lid to anything like that 🤣. The USB port is extremely hard to get to though. Doing it while driving is dangerous

I love the old Camaro.. I had a ying and yang.(to clarify I had a white Camaro and Black Trans Am). 1982 Chevy Camaro v6 and 1982 Pontiac Trans Am v8 I think its way over to to Re-vamp The body style of the Camaro.. This car is out dated. Bring back the 70's retro look. I wanted a convertiable model only because of the visablity issues. I'm short so being able to see over the steering the wheel is important. I normally wouldnt go for a Dodge Challenger but this is closest to the original car of its day. I enjoy watching your video's , a little surprise you test driving a new car but.. You go boy.. Diversity.. keeps you fresh.

The 1le gives you a lot for the added $7000 which still keeps it around $50000. $63000 for your as tested seams a bit steep. For that you could get a base ZL1. Good review though. If I hadn’t already bought a 2020 2SS 1le you would have steered me in that direction.

I had a V6 which I was going to supercharge which would bring the HP up to SS level. Any downsides you can think of compared to the SS? The weight is lower. I loved it. Handling was amazing. I do miss the sound of a V8 So funny people comparing the visibility. IT'S A SPORTS CAR. I had no problem with it. You just get used to it and learn how to drive more defensively. You can get the 1LE with auto now and on the V6

yeah I can relate to that. The refresh wasn't bad, it just wasnt the best ever... I do prefer the 2016-2018 styles better. but the new ones are decent... the tail lights are ok, Chevy really went full out on the aggressive styling.. which I kinda like it for that reason alone! overall the camaro is still one nice ride!

I don't think so. If you're just tooling around those extra gears will likely help gas mileage. And on a canyon road, there is a nice sweet spot with 3rd, 4th, and 5th. Just pretend those other gears don't exist! :)

I dont even know how you could spec it to an as tested price of 63 grand. You can literally get a fully loaded 2ss with extended warranties on everything and all the boxes checked for 50 grand or less. 63 grand is zl1 money. No idea what else you could add to it that would add 13k more to the price of a fully loaded one

That would be interesting but there is no comparison my first car was an 81Z28. The 2020 1le I have now would totally destroy the 81. Even my 2011 lacrosse (daily driver) would eat up my old 81. It would be a humorous comparison though.
