It is what people want or else they'd be building cars like this. You're not living in this planet apparently. In fact, people don't even want cars anymore. SUVs and crossovers is where the money is at. It's al about sales. Soft luxury cars do not sell. If people wanted fins, they'd put fins on cars. If people wanted Buick like this they'd sell them. It's a market. It's about money. For whatever reason people stopped wanting cars like this almost two decades ago. Don't you understand that? Those "grandpa cars" are tons of car for the money. Of course they hardly ever listen to me and instead end up with overpriced, ragged out Civics or Accords (around here people want way too much for a Civic with 190k and.a mismatches fender) but I do try.

@Garliky6 жыл бұрын
I've been wanting a Reatta with the cathode ray CRT for years and now that I'm finally close to graduating from college and getting a decent paying job I might just have to pull the trigger and buy one. How has yours been from a reliability standpoint? It's tough to find info online being that it's so old and had such low volume production.
@jamesbensch66 жыл бұрын
Max Sandy Max Sandy reliability engine wise is impeccable. Despite it being a sporty car it still is a Buick and therefore has a detuned engine. It has a pre series I 3800. The problem to look out for is the transmission. And the CRT displays are prone to failing. As far as my car goes, the only things wrong with it are an bad ABS sensor, a bad passenger side window motor, and the cassette deck doesn't work

A friend of mine's Mom got the Enclave a few years back, one with all the bells and whistles and man that thing is a nice ride. Even has headlights that turn to light up corners like the Tucker had the pivoting center light.
@Myaurora20016 жыл бұрын
The second generation Acadia is downsized and no longer really comparable to the Enclave now, but it was the Enclave he was commenting on. The second generation Lambda platform here at Delta is the BUick Enclave and the Chevy Traverse only. Chevy Equinox, and Envision is the same platform as the smaller sized Acadia that replaced the Terrain for the new models. Our Enclave and Traverse is the only full size CUV GM wants to build and keep the Enclave as the premier luxury CUV.

All old cars need some work, Buick parts are cheap, available, and usually easy to replace. You can replace damn near everything on these old buicks for the price of a handful of parts on a newer car (newer cars are painstakingly difficult to wrench on anyway). The only real deal-breaker for me with anything GM is that they rust faster than raw steel in a salt water lake, so you have to find one as rust free as possible and take the proper measures to keep it that way.

My step dad had many buicks he loved. When him and my mom got together she had a white Buick la sabre. And they ended up with many buicks after that. Even refering to the last la sabre as 'the pappy car'. I had to drive the pappy car for a week while my dodge dakota was down it was awful. But kieth LOVED that pappy car. He actually passed away this year. Hit by someone drunk and high going way to fast. They were going so fast even the old boat(the pappy car) he drove couldn't save him.. his 1995 Buick la sabre looked like a crushed soda can..its been over 4 months. And it just isn't real yet.

I loved the video and have always loved the way the Park Avenue looked like and sounded like. A Park Avenue sounds prestigious. A Titan of Industry would park his two-tone in front of his Mansion (circular drive drive of course) whilst his neighbours (neighbors for the US of A) drove ‘generic’ Town Cars or Devilles (or is that De Villes). Thanks for the video. Quite the (often overlooked) Iconic 90’s Luxury car and you gotta love those Whitewalls.
